Aurora Roots Organic-Big Swell

Anyone besides me been useing Big Swell.Ive used Gnormas,big bud(powder and liqiud),overdrive and many other high phosphorus products but Big Swell is the only thing to even come close to the old Hammerhead formula,it used to be 0-9-18,now it has a lot of nitrogen in it.Has anyone used the new hammerhead and any feedback on big swell would be great .....Thanks

I share your interest, as I just flipped to flowering so I will be using Big Swell in the next feeding. Its my first grow and I have used the 5ML Schedule with a lot of success, although I have nothing to compare it to. I have a clone of one of the plants i'm flowering and I plan to try the effects of dropping the Soul Synthetics products from her feedings. I'm curious of people think about specific products of the Soul Synthetic line, especially Big Swell.

Do you use other Aurora products, Dale? Are you soil or hydro?

Although my grow with the 5ML schedule has been great thus far, mixing so many nutes sometimes feels more like a chemistry experiment than a grow. However, it's hard to tell whats worth dropping, due to my inexperience.

My father in law uses the whole line. I dont feel it is that great of a nute line and there is a lot of snake oil/uneeded stuff in the line. I have not been impressed at all with any of the finished product with these nutes. If you are going to use a Swell be sure to run Potash in weeks 1-4 of flower then Swell from week 5 until you flush/feed no nutes. IME you should run the Swell in weeks 5-8.

Dale: It's all just potassium and phosphorus. Once you average it with the ratios of other nutes and amounts of each nute added, they don't make a huge difference.

Your best bet would be to ignore all the labels and marketing rhetoric, and simply judge a product by its NPK ratings. Buying a 5lb bag of monopotassium phosphate would do the same job as any of these products if applied sensibly and you could get it at a fraction of the cost.

I've used the Aurora big swell. Got a sample pack of it at my buddys shop. Want to know how well it worked? It worked exactly the same as any other pk booster I've ever used.

A complete base nutrient is going to be the most important part of your feeding regime. IMO all of the extras aren't necessary.
