Aurora Indica Grow!!!!!!

ok well i recently got my seeds of a.i from nirvana on saturday. i put four in a paper towl and did that whole germ method on satruday night. this morning... columbus day. 2 of the four seeds were ready for planting.

my set up...

its really shitty... just one 100w cfl above the plants amd one 65 watt in a regular lamp next to them. i have white walls and put aluminum foil covered wood blocks on the floor.

my future plans...

i dont wanna get too big right now cuz ill be moving in about a month or 2 so i dont wanna haul all this shit around town/state. but heres what im thinking about doing. i was almost definately going to get a 400w hps for flowering and they sell flouresent tube lights for 20 bucks at menards. that im going to use for veg. complete with the fixtures and everything. as for the soil i plan on gett fox farms ocean forest. right now i got miricle gro organic mixture.

what you guys think any suggestions.

so total cost will be around... i dunno im kinda out of it right nw.... things are icking in and im all scattered brained. i would post pics but i dont think too many people would wanna see just a square piece of dirt....


suggestions. comments. constructive critisism is ALWAYS welcome. in here or any thread i make. so start this thread baby.

dont use foil

i know cuz it bounces back heat and stuff with burnging the leaves but i figured the dull side was better than my brown carpet... oh and im working on getting pics of my tiny barely four day old seedling

these seeds were planted 4 days ago. i just replanted them in the containers you see there. dont ask why i just wanted them in there instaed of where i had them. but they were a little taller? what are some signs of stretching.

thanks bro. i bought three more 23 watt cfl so right now i only got 2 going for two reasons:

when all fivw are turned on the leaves seem to get crispy so im going to wait til they get bigger to turn em all on and

2. the guy at the hrdryo store said littlte seedlings like small amounts of light better cuz theyre focusing on growing roots. then theyll shoot off and grow leaves


but anyway now i have a total of about 510 watts of light but right now only 250 watts going cuz of what i previously said

try not to get the leaves so wet.

You put them in the seed starter for a high humidity right?

yup. i just cant wait for them to get bigger already

so i got a question... how long do i keep the lid on. right now they are starting their third set of leaves. second real set not including those first two weird looking leaves. but i just wanted to know cuz i wanted to put the fan on em to get their stems strong.

here are some pics from yesterday. i had the lid off for a day or so with the fan on but i out the lid back on. im not sure how long to keep it on.

oh and im germinating three more of these seeds. they all have their tap root coming out. should be ready tomorrow sometime. ill keep updates

its only been a couple days since my last update but it feels so much longer. the three seeds i germinated have poked up through the grow plugs within the last 12-24 hours. theyre looking good and healthy from what i can tell so far. the other older two dont seem to be growing that fast. however when i looked at the last pics they are bigger. ill try to get pics up today or tomorrow. one of them has curling leaves that are turning yellow a little bit. i think its from too much water cuz i had water in the bottom of the tray and it made the dirt almost like mud so i took the water out about 2 days ago maybe three and the dirt is still drying so im hoping that it will fix itself soon.

does anybody even read this? cuz if they do im going to start a more organized journal. this is fairly unorganized to me and its kinda annoying me. so if anyone even reads this just make a post and say you do. cuz if you do ill make a more organized one.

ok well its been a while since my last update on this thing. sorry.

update:

not sure if i said how many plants i had but i had a total of six. 5 a.i. 1 bag seed.

turns out 2 a.i. were male and so was the bag seed. so now i have 3 female aurora indica's 28 days into flowering.

i also took a couple cuttings from one of the plants on the 26th but they still havent rooted yet. theyre sitting in a shot glass with water with a lid over them.

as for the 3 flowering ones... here are some pics. these pictures are probably about a week old. give or take a couple days.

i also got more lights. i bought a 2 foot 6 bulb t5. then on 2 of the girls i have a 26w cfl on them then on a regular lamp in the middle of the 3 i have a 42w cfl.
