I was talking to a very reliable guy who was a mod at MMMA (Michigan Medical Marijuana Association) for years. He told me that ever since Doc Greenthumb caught Attitude Seeds in that clumbsy bit of lying/cheating, (the DAY AFTER High Times proclaimed Doc's Cindy 99 Strain of the Year Attitude had it on their website FOR SALE, even though Greenthumb didn't know anything about it and Attitude in fact had NO Greenthumb Cindy 99 seeds) Doc made them take down the ad and according to buddy, ever since then they have had a hard on for Greenthumb and follow him around on-line dissing all his stuff.

Remember all those well done profiles and smoke reports of Doc's strains over at MMMA? Well Attitude PAID MMMA to move those profiles and smoke reports and hide them in such a way so that if you weren't actually looking for them, you wouldn't find them and that additionally Attitude was PAYING seeds to people to hate and slam and slander Greenthumb on the forums. I always wondered how, when anyone who'd ever actually grown a Greenthumb strain had nothing but good things to say, yet there were always these haters and now I think I know why and so should you. Apparently it's the same with complaints about Attitude. Since they pay for a banner at nearly every forum, you never hear about all the complaints. Attitude is the new Monsanto.

i think the whole thing with doc gt's and the attitude was simply a big misunderstanding.. when hightimes top ten strains of the year came out the attitude listed dr greenthumbs strain on their site.. i guess it could and was presumed by dr greenthumbs that it looked like you could buy his beans at the attitude, but of course there is only one place that you can get his gear, at his site..
so dr greenthumbs all had a fit thinking that they were saying you could buy his gear at their site, and made them take down his name from the list, which i guess i can kind of understand..
i've never heard of anyone getting free beans from the attitude, and i buy from then all of the time, if anyone deserves free beans, i think it would be me, lol.. so i don't know about that part of the rumor either..
and all of this shit happened well over a year ago, and seems like water under the bridge to me by now too.. i've grown a couple of dr greenthumbs strains, and his og kush ghost cut is in my top three smokes ever..

I was wondering why any drgreenthumb strains, journals ,prices etc ,always seems to get criticised by some dildo working for another seeds co. There are about half a dozen of these grubs on riu, just ignore them.

well, some people have a problem with the fact that dr greenthumbs charges what is it, two hundred bucks for two seeds of his g13?? i have no problem with it personally, although i do think that dr greenthumb would sell way more gear if his prices were a bit cheaper, but what the fuck do i know??
obviously he's doing something right as he's been around for a long ass time, and everything i've grown from him has been some straight up fire..

yeah but have you seen the results from those $100 seeds! they really do double the weight of anything I've seen. If you live in a state that allows say 6 plants, well, 6 plants x 3-4 pounds per is 18 -24 pounds and you are within the legal limit

yes i have, which is why i said i have no problem paying the money for them, unlike a lot of other people.. i've watched dr grubers grow of it for pretty much the entire grow, and couldn't have been blown away anymore.. dr gruber always manages to kill all of dr greenthumbs gear though..
and like i said, i grew his og kush ghost cut, and that shit is easily in my top three strains thus far.. great yields, super smell, and potent as all get out..
i've been wanting to get my hands on some more dr greenthumbs gear as well, but being on unemployment, my funds have been a lil low, which is also why i wish he'd simply charge a lil less for his beans, but they're worth every penny he charges imho..

i don't have any issues with the tude, but they simply don't carry every single breeders gear out there that i'd like to try so i have to order from other places sometimes as well..
if i want sannie and crews gear, i have to go to sannies seed shop, if i want dr greenthumbs fire, i have to shop at dr greenthumbs.com, if i want bog, i usually go with seed boutique..
speaking of which, fuck me, i couldn't be more pleased with my last order from seed boutique.. i ordered some of bogs blue moon rocks, and the grape punch and a pack of legends johnny blaze, and i got the beans to my door in like 8 days.. very happy camper..

You make is sound as if Doc has never had any dissatisfied customers, that everyone who grew Doc's gear loved it and thought it was tops. When Doc had what he called his Heritage Line I purchased what Doc claimed was real true pure Acapulco Gold. I had grown true Acapulco Gold a number of times in the 70's and what Doc sent me and claimed was real true pure Acapulco Gold was as different as night and day from what I know the strain to be.

I do not know anything about the alleged mod on the Michigan Medical marijuana Association site or if what you claim he claims is true or not. But I do know that I know of negative reports of Dr. Greenthumb genetics from well before Michigan became a medical marijuana state and and the site existed and before Attitude Seeds existed.

No one who knows Doc's line can in all honesty deny that Doc has some rather decent strains. But for anyone to believe that Doc always has had, and always will have, only have top quality strains that are precisely as described and that will always please everyone who grows and smokes them is exceedingly naive.

and i think that the same would hold true for just about any breeder out there putting out seeds today.. sure, some of them may have some true fire, but it's simply not possible for ever strain that they put out to have the same fire qualities to it for sure..
and sometimes a strain that was fire years ago could be being put out today and not be the same strain at all.. for instance, one of the parents of a cross could possibly have died off along the years, so making the same exact strain years down the line is on longer a possibility...
i wish breeders would at this point either just simply discontinue a strain, or give it a new name, but most of the time, they never do..

Hemp Depot has most of Legends stuff in stock right now, try the Toe Jam if you've got some spare change I've grown that one.

OG Ghost, huh? Whoa sounds exciting. What cross is that?
Dr. Greenthumbs is smart to offer some sales, I know Attitude Delta 9, Cali Connection, Mosca, DNA, G13.
Does anybody know anything about Delta 9 strains?? Mixed reviews, right? What are the solid Delta 9 strains? DNA especially Reserva Privada and G13 imho are some of the best. To be fair I was reading more about Greenthumbs and the general consensus seems to be that they're reliable which is important.

At this point I still feel doc's gear is garbage. I like most was weary of buying anything from him due to the high ass prices. But, I don't mind shelling out some money if quality is guaranteed. So after doing a lot of journal reading etc, and seeing that his reviews varied wildly from place to place journal to journal, I figured I'd give a pack of his beans a try and see for myself how they turn out. I also really wanted some pure sour diesel in seed form and GT is one of the few who offer it. Got the ecsd and 2/11 germed......Let me start by saying I have popped many many packs of beans and never had bad germ rates before, so its not my method. Anyhoot, paying 200 dollars for a pack of seeds and getting less than a 20% germ rate is wack as fuck imo. The two that made it are still pretty small, and it will be a while before I get to sample what they produce. But as it stands now, I feel his gear is way overrated and he has way to many spammers on the payroll bolstering his reputation. Much better shit to be had on attitude, or even better cz or bb.

Man Seed Botique has some nice looking strains. Where has that site been hiding on me! lol BOG Bogglegum look awesome. You've grown out some of their stuff? I'm still leary as they claim to have strains that flower in 45 days, which IMO is impossible.

never grew the doc's menu mostly because the dude was an extreme ass cracker to me on the phone. I don't like rude people and personally.. not a person I would like to give money to. That being said.... I WANT his Bubba and C-99

i ordered from Attitude once, OG#18 from reserva, only my seed showed up labled "og#18 x skunk#1 " ..? well the seed didnt pop so i dont know what pheno i could of had outta the three genos involved in the cross, but whats with that? they buy the original strains from the legit seed banks then cross them with their own skunk poppas? fuk them

on the other side of the fence, i have docs ghost cut i have been battling for months, killed a bunch of seeds and now the three survivors are lacking everything thats delicious bout og..
in the end its all about successful germ rates and getting that special plant outta every pack.
i also have docs east coast sour diesel which is the best version of sd i have tasted in the last few years.. lemon pine soil skunk flavor with sour exhale.. yields better than og too

I like attitude the best imo.
