Attitude Special for May 2010

Attitude has been flawless for me so far in the USA. I ordered 4 times last month alone, 2 times for each special in the month of April 2010. I've ordered from them over 10 times and got every seeds in the breeder's package except for the freebies of course. The usual time for them to come up with a new special freebies is coming up soon. I think its usually the 9th of the month. I think they've been doing this since Feb 2010. I wonder what their new specials for this month will be if they plan on doing an one because I want to order more from them. Hope they will come up with extraordinary freebie specials.

An Auto Northern Lights?!? That sounds promising--a great strain in an auto package. I think the autos are clearly here to stay. We've seen the number of available strains keep climbing and finally a classic like NL is finally getting some attention. (well deserved IMHO) Unfortunately, my car is getting a new radiator and an attitude order is out of the question, but I'll be looking for grow journals on these new strains.

How much money did you lose? My understanding is that nobody that has enough brains to pick up a phone and call their credit card company lost a penny!

Attitude did what other businesses do when they get hacked. They fixed it and got back to business. How many other sites, or businesses advertise the fact that they got caught with their pants down? The big difference here is that most of the others dont have a bunch of bored stoners on a forum that cant just let things go and get on with it. I placed an order 4 days ago. Used credit card, no weird activity. If you dont trust them any more, then dont use them.

I posted this video in another thread but perhaps you would be interested as well. They admit they got hacked and have taken steps to make sure it doesn't happen again- that's pretty ace in my book.

I went negative in my checking account over a grand. In the long run, I got the money back from the bank but it took a couple weeks. One could argue that I lost nothing, but having your money unavailable for two weeks is a major pain in the ass.Lesson learned: use prepaid cards. The issue I have is not that it happened, but how they handled it. This has been going on for awhile according to other forums-for a few months at least. Its almost as if they were waiting for the problem to go away instead of throwing down for the security.(which according to that letter they put out, they didnt have on their site: who knows if they do now.)Keep an eye on your account.

A relevant vid, and thanks for attaching-Now that I saw this, its good they fessed up to it-Once again the timing is a little late though-They waited to put this out till a grip of people were already exposing the situation on this and other forums-its simply damage control. This has been going on for awhile now. Also, the thread removal on this site speaks volumes, and is shady.Yeah, theyre advertisers on here, and thats business, but shady nonetheless. Negative threads about them get deleted?

This quote would be relevant if I got jacked due to my own lack of spyware/firewalls, but as the video illustrates, its their security that was compromised.

HAHAHA. Millions of debit/credit internet transactions per day are performed flawlessly in the US alone and he's the "not to(o) smart" one?

Edit: Deleting the negative thread was the wrong move. This site is supposed to be helping people, not brushing serious issues under the rug.

Tell me what, besides damage control, was there left for them to do? lol

Does anyone know what date they released the video? I have shitty dialup, so videos are something I dont even bother looking for, because I cant watch them anyway.

I cant make up my mind if I am going to try those autoflower seeds. Those 3 strains sure look tempting though. You guys decided yet?

yeah i'm interested in these autoflowering strains. What worries me though is they call them auto-flowering however why do they list outdoor harvest dates such as October? If they are true auto-flowering strains surely they will flower regardless of photo-period, and thus won't have outdoor flowering dates?

They do sound like interesting autos if they work, but it would be interesting to have some more info on them as I can't find any. I mean Nirvana doesn't exactly have a good history with autos when you look at their terrible Short Rider which can't even be really classed as a true auto.

Does any one know anything about these starins, and whether they think they can be trusted as true autos?

I think I am going to pass on the auto flowers. I have a small order from Attitude that was mailed Monday, that should be here next week. That should hold me till next month. I dont really have room for what I have, but I want to try as many strains as I can, and then narrow it down to about 6 that I will keep going.
