Attitude seedbank reviews.

Few months ago I ordered from Attitude. Before doing so I saw random posts praising their customer service, and just as many damning it. Figured I would put in my two cents now that I have dealt with them.

Few months ago I ordered 3 packages 5 of Barney's Farm feminized seeds, they were:
8 Ball Kush
Vanilla Kush
Pineapple Chunk

4 of the 8BK didn't germ, and the one that did was only 3 leaves and stunted at less than an inch for over 2 months before I threw it out.

1 Pineapple Chunk didn't germ.

I wrote an email to Attitude letting them know I was dissatisfied with my purchase. I refrained from using and language that was against their policy, like germinate, retarded growth, etc. I just stated that I was dissatisfied and would like 6 replacement seeds or a refund.

Attitudes reply:
"Hi there

I am sorry you are dissatisfied with your souvenirs, but as you are aware we
sell these solely for souvenir and storage purposes and we cannot reply to
certain emails in conflict with this.

However you can send back any dissatisfactory items and packaging back to us to
forward to the breeder you are unhappy with to inspect with a view to a replacement or contact the breeder directly with your query.

Many Thanks and I thank you in advance for understanding we do not process
claims in the UK.

Many Thanks,

Jodie

The Attitude Seed Bank"

My reply:
"My email didn't conflict with your policy. It's painfully obvious that you make customers jump through unreasonable hoops such as returning the Barney's Farm packages to you. Providing you my original order # within an email from my registered email address should more than suffice. Who keeps empty packages? *Is there some return policy stating such?

It cost me over $70 to learn that your company is no longer worth my money, I will happily spend my money with another seedbank from now on.

Thanks. Happy holidays."

Obviously, my review of Attitude Seedbank is a poor one. 1 entire package of 5 fem seeds was a complete dud. Not a cheap experience at over $55 for the package, extra for shipping and then an additional $7 charge from the bank due to "international transactions."

If Attitude had an ounce of forethought, they would have realized that replacing 6 seeds to keep a customer loyal would have more than paid off. Especially since I had over $300 worth of product in my shopping cart at the time of my email to them.

I've heard good things about Nirvana and their policy, so I guess I'll be spending my money with them.

Hope this helps anyone considering spending their hard earned cash with Attitude Seedbank. They simply do not appreciate their loyal customers.

Don't contact Attitude, contact the breeder, or the breeders main distributor. I had an issue with some auto's I got from the tude, and got in touch with the breeders, they made it right.

exactly what Camp said. Attitude aren't the breeders, if the gear sucked, thats the breeders fault, not the tudes.

good luck!

edit: also ive made many orders with attitude that went fine. some of the seeds ive held on to for a year and they still germ'd. it could be the growers fault, the breeders fault, but it's hard to blame the middle man unless they send you the wrong gear, or broken (smashed) gear.

Thanks. I planned on doing such, having heard BF was good about that. BUT, if they are going to act as middle men for a fee, then that goes both ways, not just on the "love to take your money" part. Since I paid Attitude, they are responsible for the product on my end.

Had a similar but even more pathetic germ ratio on my first Attitude order as well. They told me to pound sand as well. I only order from Attitude now if I want TGA beans and only because I can't get them shipped to me by anyone else. I MUCH prefer to use Sannies. I got some dud Chocolate Rain seeds and he sent me more than I originally ordered with some extra seed pots... NO QUESTIONS asked. Needless to say I ordered 4 more strains from him the following month.

Alternatively you DID conflict with their policy. Or maybe they should just say hey, drug laws are only drug laws right. They have to sell them as souvenirs, not as an item to be germinated, they have laws to follow so as not to simply get shut down or taken to jail.

Their policies:

THe Attitude Seed bank, cannabis “marijuana” seeds we supply are only to be grown in countries where it is legal to do so, like Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.
All cannabis seeds / marijuana seeds are for educational and Souvenir purposes only
I also love that you're getting pissed off because they've asked you to return the faulty product, not too many companies i know of that will just ship you out another product if you tell them the first was broken on receipt without being able to offer proof or the item for them to inspect etc? Good to see you know how business works.

You are of course aware that dud seeds is nothing to with the attitude, it is the breeders issue.

I have heard multiple times that Barney's Farm seeds have terrible germination rates, so maybe you should blame their shitty seeds and not attitude. I have ordered once and had no problems, will continue to order from them.

And you will continue to pay double and triple what you should....

So if I buy something at Target and it's broken or doesn't work Target is gonna say "FU call the manufacturer"? What's the purpose of retail then?

Ssigh... all that is required is fo things to be read.

I mean look at another of the OP's moans
Who keeps empty packages?
Yet again, i am failing to think of many businesses that do not demand that the item is returned in it's original packaging. This is how the business world works.

Just a difference of opinion. I value top notch customer service, I get that at Sannies and Nirvana, especially Sannies. Attitude will only get my business if I need TGA beans all other business will go to breeder/banks that care about their customers.

I just recently ordered my first order from attitude like a week and a half ago so I can't comment on them. But I have made a few purchases from Nirvana and they are a great company. The single time I had 1 seed not germinate, they gave me loyalty points equal to the price of a seed. Low prices and each of their strains I have grown ended up nicely. The only problem I have now is their small catalog.

Opinions are absolutely fine. Alas the OP is nothing to do with opinions, he violated the terms and conditions and got stroppy over it claiming he didn't and then complained about some other perfectly acceptable things.

The easiest way for me to think of it is someone who crashes their car trying to take a corner at 150mph and trying to lay the blame on the dealer.

You guys really need to read the disclaimer on your orders. It clearly says they are not to be used to try and grow with. Yes we all know what we do with the wink wink. But the fact is no matter how you word the email you used the products they sell for soemthing they clealry told you not to do.

I just dont understand how people can read the rules then ignore the rules and claim they lost out. Well I am sorry but I side with tude on this one. If you never got the seeds or they were destroyed in the mail and they gave you hard time I could understand being upset. But thats not the case you broke the rules and when doing so you run the risk of getting burnt.

no, but Target WILL ask you to return the broken product before they replace it. just as attitude wishes you return their broken product before they replace it. soooo wheres the problem?

yah, but the products one buys at walmart are not illegal in the us of a, unlike the products that one buys from the attitude.. i for one am glad that places like the attitude are willing to break the laws and send us what we want..
try and buy beans direct from a breeder, for the most part they will tell us customers to pound sand as it's illegal to sell seeds in the us..

Everyone else I order from seems to be able to sell beans to the U.S. without this convenient disclaimer that you guys think absolves them of all responsibility. If you can't sell them, don't sell them. Don't make some BS souvenir story and hide behind it as an excuse for poor customer service. I will order TGA beens from the tude only from now on, ALL other business will go to much better banks, like Sannies. Sannies gear shits on everything else at the Tude besides on TGA anyway and possibly Mr Nice.

Attitude is the Walmart/Target of seedbanks. The Big Box store that forgot about customer service in the race to be the biggest.

It is absolutely irrelevant :) They write the terms and conditions, you abide by them. If you don't like them, of course go somewhere where it is different. But if you buy from Attitude, then you have no right to cry when your beans don't germ or are shit, if you have a few braincells then you should be fully aware of what you are agreeing to when you place the order. They don't try and hide that side of their policy, in fact from what i've expereinced they try to advertise it, to stop stupid reaitons such as above.

You will also notice if you take the time to read the terms, that most all seedbanks carry such a criteria, essentially that they must not be used in contravention of local laws, some are just more willing than others to sort things out behind closed doors. Attitude being well, the biggest seedbank in the world it seems, is no doubt under constant scrutiny by local and foreign authorities, and no doubt due to their status, they'd rather not cock things up. Why does noone understand how the business world works, i thought we were all 18+
