Attitude - No More US Orders Online With Credit Cards

What a hassle! Went to place a usual order online and was told Attitude is feuding with the credit card people and no longer will accept online cc sales from overseas customers. They accept British cash or you can phone them with your credit card info. Tried that route and found that TrakFones won't make international calls without a special set-up. Finally gave all the info to my brother so he can use his landline to order for me.

Just a heads-up for anyone in the same boat.

It seems strange if their processor will not process USA CC's on-line but they say call in your info. You would assume the same processor would also be doing the over the phone or even in person transactions. One could assume those would be not processed for what ever the on-line reason is. Sounds fishy and a risk for credit card fraud.

It wouldn't be a risk unless they ask for info you wouldn't be asked for on a payment screen.

They probably have an alternative card processor that they can use but don't want to make their primary card processor. Maybe the alternate charges more. Maybe they have a relationship with another business they can route the purchases through under that other business.

Bitcoin would be a simple solution. But, if you want anonymity like a prepaid card you have to take some steps to obfuscate the transaction. There are articles written about it. (I personally wouldn't worry about it. I don't need anonymity to that extent.).

Nirvana, you can send cash or Bitcoin too. I used cash last time and had no issues. Probably will try Bitcoin next.

If enough info is given for a transaction to complete, e.g. Name on card, card #, the security number on the back of the card, and card billing address, that is all that is needed to make multiple fraud charges. True, the same info is given using an on-line order form...but when any business says they can only take CC orders via phone, that does pop up a red flag. Processing orders through another business would be seen as money laundering, but they are not in the USA so I don't know how that plays out where they are located. It would be easier for customers just to use an on-line form, have someone call it in or how ever they do it, then send an e-mail indicating the order has cleared.
To be honest, I am surprised checks are not a big fraud target. Everything needed is on every check to use as an e-check purchase or for someone to use the info and print checks. Check printing forms are at every place that sells printer paper.

I know of, but have no clue how to use Bitcoins. I don't even know how or where to purchase them if I knew how to use them. Doesn't the value fluctuate in value?

Yes, I am sure it does fluctuate. I plan to only keep the minimum amount in wallet at a time. If I were to place an seed orde using bitcoins if load my Bitcoin account with enough to pay them and that's about it. Just google best Bitcoin site, Read review and what not. There are some legit ones out there.

same problem lots of Dispensaries are having with banks. The bank is worried because it is still against the federal law.. at least that is what they say. They seem to have no problems with laundering Billions in Heroin and other drug profits.. but then, they do own the pharmacies also.. banks own everything. biggest mafia in the world, Rothschild is the Godfather.

I just hope this problem doesnt slowly spread around to other providers as well. When you think about it, its all the same thing. Its just that the microscope must have fallen on Attitude and the banks are shying away from them. The same thing happened not long ago to Sannieshop who previously always took American CC. Hopefully it doesnt become a chronic problem because that would be a big problem for me.

The site tells you the coverted rate. You just select which currency you want to send. I paid US currency. Print the invoice and mail the cash. I put another sheet of paper in there and also used a security envelope. Took about 2 weeks for them to receive payment, had the seeds about 10 days later. Ordered before through them using CC and it was only like 1.5 weeks faster.

Attitude is looseing so much business. I personal put in 4 orders at herbies since attitude pulled this credit card shit. And to be honest herbies is awesome. I get my beans quicker (in the U.S.) then attitude and the promos are almost the same.

last time I got from attitude, I got a $140 wallet and 3 good beans. they where the free beans too. since then I noticed they have cut way back on free beans with orders. now the credit card hit. karma?

Word! If you havent tried herbies out yet i would deff recommend them, their on point and the promos are excellent as well. My last order i bought a 5 pack and 1 pick n mix. I ended up getting 5 free feminized seeds and 5 regular.

awesome, are those freebies with a name? or are they mystery plants? I got seeds from a place that did that before and the seeds sucked, wasted 6 months over garbage
