that isn't the intent of autoflowering strains, which is basically multiple harvests outdoors year round. i can start a auto indoors and put it outdoors in april and it will finish in june with 5 ounces in a 5 gallon depending on strain, its convenient and convenience is good if its your choice. the strains that we can grow 12/12 from seed are likely to be better because breeding autoflowers is hard as fuck instead of looking for females for traits you prefer, you use males to pass on intended traits and test if the male breeds true and since the timed cycle of the fem removes it from any real reliability for backcrossing it has to be achieved by the male in most cases. Males become the best source of genes and any misstep along the way will cripple the gene pool and fuck over what could have been an excellent IBL autoflower and make it into some kinda dirt like a lowryder, only good for outcrossing in order to get autoflowering traits.
