Ghetto, when you thought that DWC was cheap enough....
Then you see this and realize how cheap DWC really can get.

at least this guy tried something different why you gotta bash him?
Because trying something like "oh I might not run voodoo juice this run, or I might run organic nutes..." is the "try" mentality you are referring too.

NOT the dumb shit lake water, aquarium fish in res, Gator Aide nute mix, and the many other just lacking common sense "ideas" you are encouraging with your post since you really don't know the difference neither.

no need to bash me, I just wanted to try lake water, which is natural... Not tap water or filtered tap or RO BS. Im currently watering my plants in soil with the lake water I have left over. They are doing great and I'm very please with the growth so far. I've ditched the DWC because I dont have the time anymore to deal with it. The plant that I started to do with the lake water idea is currently thriving in soil with minimal nutes and just lake water plus a dose of superthrive here or there.

I like to try different things and I thought the lake water idea was a good idea since I haven't seen it done before. I do not believe its a "dumb shit" idea like the others posted. this stuff goes to show you the maturity level of this forum as well as others. I openly admit I'm a noob... no need to bash. I have grown outdoors in the past with great results, and I'm going to go back to that besided a few DWC's just to try stuff out. Thanks for the supporters and helpers, as for the others, If you dont like what I do, ignore it and dont bother me with the bashing bullshit
