ATP Questions.

I've never grown because it's illegal where I live, and of course I would never ever break the law like that in any way at all, ever, in case someone reading this might get the wrong idea. But if I were a horrible criminal like that I'd probably be trying to gain knowledge in an attempt to perfect my horrible criminal cultivation techniques because I'm a villain. So, hypothetically I would want to ask a few questions about ATP because I don't have a background in botany, and most of the information I've found is written in such a way that it's somewhat difficult to understand. Here it goes... Does Adenosine Triphosphate operate in the same manner in plants as it does in other organisms? Does ATP act like a fuel line in a car to transport fuel, or is it more like the fuel pedal, or is it the actual fuel? How do the organelles signal that they need energy? Is there a limit to how rapidly the chemical bonds can be broken when ATP is releasing energy, and can that energy release be sped up or slowed down by external means? Can ATP levels be raised and lowered by external means? I know that's a lot of questions, but if anyone can answer some or all of them it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yea atp levels can be changed thru external forces..the limit to how quickly it can be broken down id imagine is relative to actual photosynthetic energy and overall health of the cell itself..
