“Optical architectures of high power entertainment fixtures are frequently defined by a
circular aperture, so using a traditional square LED was like putting a square peg into a
round hole,” said Don McDaniel, Global Marketing Director for Entertainment Lighting
at Luminus.

“Our new round LED increases system-level efficiency by as much as 30%,
enabling our customers to use a single LED to replace a 250W HID lamp.”

Well ,just for the record...
Today's measurements from a healthy top canopy layer small leaf....
( Small Leaf sample was taken exactly under a 6xCW ,2xNW ,12xWW & 4x630nm panel,after c. 10 hours of 12 h cycle irradiation. )
The bigger parted leaf ,is just one destroyed, under the 10xCW , 10x630nm ,2 x WW & 2x400nm .Just for comparison...

PS pigments average content of small leaf:
Ch A : c. 3 μg / cm[SUP]2
[/SUP]Ch B :c. 1.5 μg /cm[SUP]2[/SUP]
Total Ch : c. 4.5 μg /cm[SUP]2[/SUP]
Anthocyanins : c. 0.25 μg / cm[SUP]2[/SUP]
Xanthophylls / Carotenoids :c. 1.1 - 1.5 μg / cm[SUP]2[/SUP]

_Green wls (500-599 nm ) reflectance: c. 43% of total leaf surface _
_Red wls
(600-699 nm ) reflectance : c. 40% of total leaf surface_
_Blue wls (400-499nm )reflectance: c. 41.2 % of total leaf surface _
Leaves_5_12_NDVI FC.jpgPC055646_Clipped.jpgPC055647_NRG.jpgSurface_Plot_1_NDVI_Float.jpgSurface_Plot_2_NDVI_Float.jpg

Well...

Not so bad...
Although I would expect / like a bit more of Ch content ...
(Meaning I'd like them to be ,a bit more of " Shade Adapted" )
Anthocyanins & Xanthophylls/Carotenoids levels are pretty ok ....( as Photoprotective pigments )

PS Systems get saturated -not that much-towards the end of the 12 hours cycle, but not any serious signs of light Saturation or photoinhibition...Maybe just a bit of photorespiration...
(But,that's pretty normal,anyway...)

And some useful things for the brave :

Right now,I miss HPS lights...
I'm freezing my @$$ off....
(No money for heating the house.... )
If i still had been growing with HPS ,I would 've been probably sleepin' in the grow tent, together with my babies ...
Right now ,I miss the high temps of HPS...
I'm trembling so much, that I barely can type in the keyboard....
Who the F@ck said that in Hellas ,never gets cold ?

Brothers from Hellas....
Don't forget ....
It only takes three things to rebuilt this nation....
An olive tree,a vine and a wooden boat....
(Ok,and some joints ,maybe,I might add.... )

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche: There is no population in the world who have offered so much to humanity as the Greeks and it has been fought so much from so many people who did not offer anything to the humanity.

Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller
:
“Damned Greek, you found everything; philosophy, geometry, physics, astronomy… you left nothing for us”

“The Greeks put us to shame not only by their simplicity, which is foreign to our age; they are at the same time our rivals, nay, frequently our models, in those very points of superiority from which we seek comfort when regretting the unnatural character of our manners. We see that remarkable people uniting at once fullness of form and fullness of substance, both philosophizing and creating, both tender and energetic, uniting a youthful fancy to the virility of reason in a glorious humanity”.

Johann Gottfried von Herder
:
“As flowers adorn the earth and stars the sky, so does Greece the world”.

Wilhelm Von Humboldt
:
"In the Greeks alone we find the idea of that which we would like to be and produce ...; from the Greeks we take something more than earthly - almost godlike".

Victor Hugo:"It is great to descent from Greece, the land that gave the light to the world"

I feel for you, friend. I've been fortunate enough to be born and raised in paradise, where it rarely dips below 70degrees... My electricity is four times the national US average though:evil:!

The plants look like they have bounced back. Great work...

one like you
we love to cultivate our plants but also our minds...

We were on a forum for cultivation and cultivated our soul.
We faced each other problems and found solutions.
Testing new ideas based on what nature have learned to us, and having science on our side.
We discovered profiteering in the market.
We give our knowledge, and we will continue to do it in order for everyone to learn, what is best for his plants.
We decided to slowly start building a small production line and taking advantage of wholesale market we can offer you the same DiY product we built together in the lowest possible price.
We are not a big company and we are not trying to become one either. We prefer to call our group as a collective.
We are a bunch of people who dared, trusted each other and became good friends, and now we work on our hobby/beloved plant.

We are one of you and we can see you only as a friend.

We are you.

You're the ASTIR
