hairs turn colors a week back, but new white pistils from heat i guess. been flushing for over a week now with water and a lil ffj in my soil medium. 2 strains are High Tide CBD, so i don't really want to go too long. also have a nice window of cool weather to hang my buds for a solid 4 days. 20200603_194157.jpg

When are they 'supposed' to be done?

Foxtailing is the resumption of new pistol growth and yeah, usually a light stress thing (or genetic) but farmers choice: can let new growth ripen but your existing buds age accordingly.

Its the bug looking nugs that annoy me. Ha

IMO you're near a preference point. For me its too early to harvest. I look for around 90ish% cloudy trichs and I mean like fully cloudy trichs. If you cut clones and plan on growing this again cut a few sample pieces off every few days and see where you like it. Im gonna get a lot flak for this, but dont worry about pistils they don't indicate cannabinoid or terpene maturity just look at the trichs and harvest when you like the effects.

they are at 7.5 weeks now in flower. I use megaphos which helps speed things up a bit or at least try in unisome with good genetics from seed. n yeah the pistols changed color n receded back into the calx, then the hwat came. Yup went ahead n chopped one that had amber comin through n letting the other 2 sit in the dark mature a lil on time out for a couple days no light. All about experimentation right lol. I was one of the ignorant ones who believed that amber meant couch lock, so i kinda always grew em like that. It will be interesting to visit the opposite end of the spectrum. thanks everyone appreciate the response.
#2 first to get chop other 2 chillin.

ya dude they look good, nice job. But like I said it gets to point where its all preference at a certain point. I dont pay any mind to amber or clear trichs I'm strictly looking for a ton of cloudy trichs because thats where I and my patients like it at
**Also, make sure you're looking at the trichs on the calyxes and not the sugar leaves

When all your calyxs are swollen and pistils brown receeded its done. Before is early, after late. Any stress foxtailing or other stuff is just going to screw the plants ability to finish properly.

When you manage this and start getting consistently great smoke try watching the trikes and sampling different highs before that gets boring and you go back to the original method of calyx pistols.

Thanks you definitely from calyxs a good ammount of those photos are from the lower buds as well. first indoor run in like 7 years lol getting the tent dialed in with these fuckin temp swings. So pulled an audible and sealed off a section of my tent for a curing spot and set the light back up for 10hrs on starting at 530 pm and raised the lights a bit. Dangled the thermostat in the mist of the dry rack to see whats goin on in there.

These weird crazes of new growers, the last place i would want to dry or cure is in a tent!
with a good and right ammount of airflow anything is possible. 4" intake is open at the top with the main exhaust pulling from the bottom and a small fan blowing under the buds to keep a circular airflow. With 4 air exchanges every minute and slight negative pressure.

Thats how you overdry, you need very little airflow and why it works just hanging in a room with no fans or extractors just a half open window or door.

well need to use the carbon filter for smell wish I had all the space in the world but dont. I dont have anyairflow directly on the buds just barely enough that I don't have any stangnant air pockets leading to mold then its a whole nother fuck me situation. good enough airflow so no stagnant air and buds aren't dancing while hanging, so not too worried about it. holding constan temp to 65-80f, and humidity to 55-40fh. Feelin not the best, but ill take it for a win!

With right aporoach and some experimenting you could create a perfect drying chamber. Unless packed with bud your not going to need to extract at much cfm, nowhere near a normal growtent.
