Shouldn't people be more concerned with what was leaked than with who leaked it for what reason?

If people within the Democratic party acted right, Russia, Assange/Wikileaks, wouldn't have anything damaging to the party to leak. They didn't, that's what made them so vulnerable to leaks in the first place. Where is the outrage towards them for this? Why are none you just as outraged the Democratic party lied to voters and propped up a candidate that couldn't win against a reality TV show star the same party also propped up because they thought he would be the easiest Republican to defeat?
People have accepted that our political system is irretrievably corrupt.

The next step is collapse.

Lol and the crowd dogpiles in to shut down any discussion of the crimes of the Democratic Party or the Federal Government as exposed by WikiLeaks.

How transparent.

name them
Since you don't think political bribery or ignoring the needs of those who haven't 'contributed'- paid their bribes- are crimes, there really isn't much point in discussing it with you.

For people of questionable moral standards, legality is always enough.

Enjoy your echo chamber.

seems like you should be able to name some crimes since you are accusing people of crimes

for example, assange is a rapist who is guilty of conspiracy and espionage

1. you're not a lawyer
No, I'm not. I'm a teacher of Criminal Justice.

2. He has every reason to believe that he's being persecuted for divulging secrets
He didn't at the time. He was simply wanted in Sweden to answer questions concerning the alleged sexual assault and nothing more.

3. He has the same rights to due process as anyone else.
Which he has been offered for the last 8 years and he's been hiding from.

Let's review, dumbass:

  • In November 2010, Sweden issued an international arrest warrant for Assange. At this point, nobody else on earth wanted Assange for anything.
  • On December 7th, 2010, Assange surrendered to UK police over the Sweden warrant and was held for ten days before being released on bail. At that point, he began fighting the extradition to Sweden by the UK. He was unsuccessful in his challenge to the extradition proceedings, so he jumped bail and ran and hid in the embassy of Equador and he has been hiding there ever since.
Those are the facts.

You are defending a person who is guilty of several crimes already, and that's before you even get to the sexual assault / rape case.

conspiracy theorist buck..jesus.
If anybody here is spreading conspiracy theories, it's Ttystikk.

At no time has any warrant for Assange's arrest ever existed for anything other than:
  • Sexual Assault / Rape - Sweden
  • Fleeing the jurisdiction / Failing to surrender to authorities / Jumping Bail - United Kingdom (which is in fact still active)
The United States never had any warrant for Assange.
The United States only asked once to speak to him and nothing more.

The entire "they'll extradite me to the United States" bullshit conspiracy was completely created by Assange and fans of Julian Assange like Ttystikk. It does not now and never has been based in reality. The United States has never even so much as issued a subpoena for Assange, let alone an arrest warrant.

republite.
God I love people such as you who criticize and vilify anybody that does not have the same strategy as you as "intolerant liberals". Are you really this dumb?

wait... don't answer.

And then, even more shockingly, draw validation from Trumpers and Russians whose very clear strategy is to divide Trump's opposition.

Yes, you are that dumb.

It's a setup he's been declared enemy of the state they will do anything to get him.
If sweden extradites him to the us then you know it's a setup. Getting some women to claim sexual misconduct then morph into rape is no big deal for the CIA or NSA right after he leaks. C'mon stop being so stupid

You are so stupid it's beyond belief.

First off, Sweden cancelled the warrant. They don't want him. So he no longer faces extradition to Sweden.

Secondly, the United States doesn't want him either. They never have. They have no use for him. They asked to speak to him once a couple years ago. He said no. That was it. There is no subpoena for him, no warrant for him, nothing.

NOBODY WANTS HIM..EXCEPT FOR:

The United Kingdom. He (Assange) is guilty of Jumping Bail, among other things. The UK are the only people that give a shit about him at all. Nobody else does. The instant he sets foot out of the embassy, he knows he'll be arrested by the English police, who will take him back to jail and hold him until he is tried and convicted of his crimes. Then he'll probably gets sentenced to a few months in jail and a large fine.

That's it. That's all there is to it.
