Good Evening All,

I would like to start by dedicating this grow to raiderman. This gentlemen was a huge help to me in the early days. I picked his brain from start to finish and he was always willing to help. raiderman, this buds for you. Until we toke in the hereafter.....RIP

The first round is Tangerine Dream, Afghani Kush, Green Love Potion and Blackberry
2nd ( in the lower cabinet) is Ripper Grape Gum, NY Purple Diesel and Critical Sensi Star.

Finally have the new grow room to the point I can roll on out with it. I had to create me a bit more space for this setup. I have a 6'x14'x9' grow room. It is divided into two rooms. The veg room with a self contained pollen making cabinet. The flower room is now a full 8'x6'x9' The extra height gave me a bit more freedom in my exhaust/scrubbing setup. I will get some pics of the flower area when I am complete ( about 95%) with it. The curled duct is my forced air intake to give me double security on my air pressure control in the breeder box. I want to keep that box at decent negative so as to minimize the spread of pollen.

The veg room is 6x6x8 and contains a T5 4 bulb fixture @ 6500k and an automated feeder. The breeder box below is the same and it is sealed 100% and contains its own exhaust and circulation fans, and vents constantly to the outdoors. I will take clones of each strain and try to make some pollen, story to be told later..lol

The flower room will have 2 600w hps and 2 400w MH. I will burn the MH up to about 7-8 hrs per cycle. A 9000btu A/C and I have the whole thing automated so it controls my temp/humidity, CO2 ( when I get the bottle and junk) lighting and feeding. I insulated and sealed it to where I can control all intake and exhaust.
All I do is make sure they have they have good food and a bit of training and the rest goes on its own. I get an alarm if any temp goes out of range or if a fan or pump fails and it sends me an alert on my pc.

Will see how this goes.

Looks great, I'm sure you will enjoy the extra room, and the ability to grow much larger girls.
What are you going to do with that killer cabinet???
Anyways best of luck with your new rooms, and thanks for journaling another grow.

Thanks for stopping by WattSaver. I learned a great deal last grow, but I got tired of not having 360 degree access to the flowering plants. Having to reach in and around to train and service the grow got to be a major pain, literally. My back would be killing me after a few minutes of working on the plants. So I deleted that room, and made it large enough so I could have access to all the plants, double the flowering table and build a real breeder box to make pollen in ( ultra stoked about making seeds).
My flowering room is almost complete. finishing up some plumbing and waiting on another 600w light, no cool tubes , just open air wing reflectors, as long as I dont have heat issues, I want to ditch the cool tubes.

The plants are almost 3 weeks from sprout and are more than ready to get under a 600 MH for final veggin'. I will transplant them into 3 gallon smart pots in the next couple of days as well.
I hope I can get this harvested before I run outa smoke..lol It has been so long since I had to buy a sack, I think the couple of folks I buy from think I have left town....lol

Good Afternoon All,

Decided it was time to transplant some plants into their final 3 gal. smart pots to finish veggin' out. I love the root growth speed in coco. I am feeding twice a day at 700ppm, using just Canna Coco A & B and Humboldt's golden tree at 3 mil. per gallon with ph setting at 5.8 and running 18/6 on the lighting.
I added a couple of sneek peeks of the flowering room. I finally got my scrubber and exhaust all squared away. I do like how quiet the vortex inline fan (6") is and it is coupled to a 6x22 carbon filter. I am using a 4" inline fan with a 4x18 filter for exhaust purposes.
The root shots are of the Tangerine Dream. I am waiting on my other 600w light, drain table and trellis netting to come in to complete the flowering room.

Looking at about 2 weeks or so and I will flip these and then bring my second set into the mix shortly there after.

May I ask why you ditched the cool tubes... and it looks like you have a fan venting back into the same room is that just for odor security?

Thanks for stopping by M8.
I ditched the cool tubes because you lose about 8% or so par from having glass between the bulb and the plants and I get a bit more control on the light coverage as well.

The 4" fan/filter that goes out the back of the room is my emergency exhaust fan. It will start automatically if the room temp gets above 82 degrees, there is also an intake with a D3 damper on the opposite side that will bring in cool air from the other room adjacent to the grow room if I have an a/c failure. The larger 6" fan/filter is for scrubbing, I will only run it when things start to get smelly.

I am a firm believer in having as close to a failsafe room as I can build. With 2000w of lights in such a small space ( 6x8x9), I do not want an a/c failure to wipe out my grow.

Evening All,

Was going to have all my lights in place this evening, due to the fact I got a package delivered and the goofy bastards at the hydro store sent me the wrong stuff. I ordered a 600w setup w/open wing reflector and they sent me a 250w setup with another cooltube....WTF!!!, So Monday, that shit is going back and hopefully I will get mine on its way as well.

Anyway, did a good burn in on the 400 waters and all seemed good on temp after 4 hrs with the 600 going as well ( 76 tops ). I do know this, walk into this white walled bastard with 800watts staring at you, your happy ass will find those shades, quick, fast and in a hurry. :P I have had these fixtures a while, had them in the guttin' barn at the deer lease.

I used sprayers last grow, and they worked very well. I am going with dripper loops this round, I seem to get a more even soaking . Still have the 2 pump setup as last grow, incase I lose one, the ladies still get fed.

Morning All,

The Ladies are literally blowing up. I cannot believe 2 of them have already reached the trellis and the others are gaining quick. I like the way the roots grow through the smart pots. I have never seen root growth so fast, granted, I have only 4 grows under my belt, but it still amazes me.
I took 10 clones so I can start another round and take 1 of each to put in the breeder cabinet and make some pollen. I have the Critical Sensi Star, NY Purple Diesel and the Ripper Grape Gum on a slow roll, I will veg them until the first round has flowered for at least 4 weeks.
I am up to 800ppm on the Canna Coco A&B and 4 ml per gallon on the Humboldt's Golden Tree. PH at 5.8 and water temp is 68 degrees.
Have a great week all.

@beech - Many thanx for complement M8, Glad to hear you got rolling on your new setup, I cannot imagine having a play ground that big...lol I am truly impressed with Golden Tree as of the veg stage. The root growth has been without a doubt, much faster than the GH Root Excelurator is used last round. I'm running straight Canna Coco out of the bag. I am thinking of flipping this set within the next few days. I am ready for that amber glow :)

@Don - Honored to have you along as well. I like toying with the automation like a hobby after this long..lol. In regards to raiderman, he passed away earlier this year, there is more details on his profile page from a relative that frequents the site. He is the reason I joined this site and started growing my own. Dude could damn sure produce some world class bud and was more than helpful to my noob ass.

I know I am more than ready for some buddage. Those 12/12's are calling my name :P

Good Afternoon All,

I have been waiting to start flowering something for a good while. I took one last clone from each plant today and changing the main bulb to hps and then supplement that with the 400w MH lights. All is well, as long as my clones take. I have 3 of each one and 4 from the Green Love Potion. I need at least one of each to make some pollen within the next 4-5 weeks. I have all the gear to make the colloidal silver to 35-40ppm, will be trying my hand at bean generating here soon :)

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

Damn, I wish I had your incentive ASV, you've taken your N gauge cabinet, and gone G gauge in your new room(s), I'm really impressed. (N & G a model train reference)
