this is my plant, (age 30 day) i was wondering is it male or female?? how can i know if the plant are ready to harvest?? thx

read the FAQ.you need to flower it first then you can tell the sex.you flower foor 8-12 weeks depending on the strain then you harvest

You do not need to flower to tell the sex. They will also show sex when they veg till maturity. I recommend reading the grow FAQ's to see what male/female pre-flowers look like.

so how long until they reach maturity.i looked at the pic's and they just look like the first signs of flowers if you flower normally

the photoperiod needs to be in 12/12 to determine sex accurately

You do NOT need to switch to 12/12 to determine sex. Look at the main cola of the plant where the branches are and look for 2 little "spikes". This is the bud sight, if you have them it is a female.

And if I could add my 2 cents, I am not sure if this is an indoor or outdoor grow, but you should really put your light very close to the plant (distance will be determined by type of light). If that is an indica, it will keep stretching and you are going to end up with a "Charlie Brown christmas tree." You might also want to add some nutes if not doing so already. And lastly I would HIGHLY recommend topping that thing. Don't be afraid, just chop off the top where the new leaves are growing.
