Artic silver 5 or pad grafene 100w each cob

Hello, i make a 2 vero gen7 68V versión in hlg-185h-C1400 and 2 stxx heatsinks splayed, i have a Thermal pads of grafene 0.5mm for this cobs or use Dissipative paste artic silver 5...? 100w aprox each cob.
Sorry the question I have not found any subject on this, I read that the manufacturer of the vero does not recommend thermal pads but does not say what kind.

On a microscopic level, paste is probably better as it should fill in the little ridges and valleys in the heat sink surface better than a pad. More contact = more heat transfer. On a practical level, I find pads much easier to work with. To each their own.

In the PC world, the difference between a horrible thermal compound and a high end one could be upwards of over 10C.

I used Artic Silver 5 because it used to be the king thermal compound back in the day, it still good but there are thermal compounds out there that outperform AS5 if you want to get the best performance.

i think crackfilling + the ability to be thinner both aid in paste's performance. its a lot easier to get 0.1 mm with a paste than a pad and heat transfer is directly inversely related to TIM thickness
