Day 1- hey ya'll so i have 4 seeds in soil waiting to pop. i am using jiffy windowsill mini green house. so lets see what happens.
i have 2 arjan strawberry haze, 1 super lemon haze and 1 kings kush. all are fem seeds. wish me luck
i do have the lid on until they sprout and i also have it on a heating pad set on very low so that they don't get too cold. i keep the house pretty cold cause i am always moving around and will to overheated otherwise. lol after they pop then i will take the lid off and set them in the window. when they get there first set of leaves then i will transplant into party cups.
Day 3- ok just so that you guys know how exactly how i am doing these seeds i'll tell ya. i have one of those little seed starting kits in a mini greenhouse. you add warm water and watch the pellets swell. the pellets have a plastic mesh on them to hold them together. i put the seeds (without germing them first) on top of the pellets and covered with a little of the growing medium. put the lid on and set them in a dark place on a heating pad to stay warm. i checked them this morning and 2 of them are starting to break the soil, so at this point i crack the lid a bit until the other pop, then i will take the lid off and put in a sunny window during the day and under lights at night. so there you have it, todays update. oh by the way. i met a couple of my new neighbors and we hung out last night. they brought there grand daughter over to play with my kids. they are in there deep 60's at least. we got sooooooooo baked together. it was awesome! we laughed our asses off. they told me a lot of great stories about back in the day and i amsure that they have many more to tell me. thats it for now. peace and love my fellow growers, smokes and midnight tokers.
Day 4 today -ok so they are all popping so i took the lid off and set them in the window. they should green up after being in the sunshine. plus i used a paper towel to squeeze out any excess water in the jiffy pellets cause they tend to stay really wet. the 2 at the top are the arjan strawberry haze the one on the bottom left is the super lemon haze and the bottom right is the kings kush. oh yah and i am keeping the heating pad under the grow tray to keep the soil warm because it is still kinda cold next to the window.
