I hear a layer of perlite on top acts like a layer of sand, and they can't crawl through. Also try diatomaceous earth on the top couple inches.. Spider mites need a few different products used in succession to make sure they are gone. Root aphids are the worst.

I've seen spider mites kill a plant in 2 days. When it comes to them you cannot procrastinate in the slightest. My poor bell peppers taught me that.

so i shoudl just kill the mildew/fungus clones then:( i didnt give them any air circulation.....they are in my old fishtank:( ANOTHER dumb cloning mistake....i have yet to get a successful clone..i suck at this....lol

I went from killing every clone to 90-100% survival. I didn't change anything >.< haha I started with what I thought was right after a lot of reading and having everything proper, even started with heat mats haha Out of nowhere they all survived. I have a friend who started doing great by putting the cut clone directly in a cup of soil with a small plastic dome cut out of a 2 liter. He doesn't use cloning hormones or anything special.

In the pursuit of perfection failures are inevitable. I wouldn't kill them. I would take this opportunity to find a good organic fungi/pest/mite-cides. there are several products that are OMRI listed. I want to try Safer brand 3 in 1 There is also Organocide I have has good luck with that product it just smells REALLY fishy (like dirty nasty cocha fishy smell) but it seemed to control my fungus gnats in my second round.

Bird those look beautiful. Always great to see bright leaves without burn ^_^ I switched nutrients to Dyna Gro a month ago so still trying to get accustomed to such a high strength quality product. I had bad leaf drop the first 2 weeks but now I'm just at slight tip burn. Another week and they should be sexy like yours. I seem to burn my plants more with soil because I'm bad at it haha I used Subcool's Super Soil and after 3 weeks in veg and bad burning I realized I wasn't supposed to feed with it **slaps self** I'm too much a hydro person.

organocide is great it smells so bad you cant smell that you are growing weed. I had meally bugs i mixed some neem oil and some organocide and some dawn and they are gone now. I need to post some pictures of connie chung week 2 of flowering and theres already crystals covering the secondary leaves. I found a recipe for making thai sticks also that i'm gonna put in my journal for whoever wants to know. eventually I'm gonna make a weed beer

phil,
i am not going to claim to be a master grower (of weed), but i have been an exceptional
(regular)gardener my entire life.
dont kill that plant, just cut off the leaves ( right at the internode)that show the symptoms.

if that was my plant i would simply take the symptom as telling me that something is wrong with my enviornment(the fishtank) and make some changes(make sure to have air movement).
sometimes you do need to eliminate something to allow the rest to survive.

your cloning area should be used for getting roots started only; then off to be vegged.

i would maybe use the fishtank to grow roots in, but once those roots have grown, get the suckers out of the fishtank, or clone dome, or whatever, and into your growing medium.

if you are having trouble with cloning, try an ezcloner; as the name says its really easy, and works very well. it will pay for itself quickly.
on ebay they can be found for ~$150, and seem to hold their value well on the used market.

cloning should be very easy..........this shit grows like a weed.

Make your own clone box its easy and cheap you can probably do it for about 60 bucks... Cheaper if you have a pump..
You will need:
Rubbermaid Tote
Drill
Hole Saw
Neoprene inserts
a pump
some PVC pipe to make a manifold and the spray nozzles.

rockwool, a tray, a dome, some cfls, a scalpel, and some rooting gel/powder is all i ever need to clone. all that shit will cost you about $20 and takes not time to assemble.the one key i have found to cloning is to keep it clean and simple and let the plant do the work.

Yeah thats another way you can clone I would prefer rapid rooter plugs but yeah I know lots of people that clone that way. I messed around with cloning a couple years ago that way and did get roots through the plug.

i like rockwool it is very cheap and does its job effectively. this way i get roots in 5-10 days depending on strain. there is a great tutorial on cloning on sublbc's youtube channel. if you dont know who sub is, he is a grower in socal that supplies a lot of clones to the clubs in his area.

So I was on Leafly and I found the price list for ACS (ACC2 electric boogaloo). My god! Who can afford these prices?! I'm sure if these sick people could afford $400 an oz for medical marijuana they would be able to afford to find the cure to their own diseases

Grape Ape should not be that price thats for sure, Thats a "lower tier" type strain. Every dispensary I have been to in Cali and Colo sell that for about $280.00, same goes for Banana Kush they seem to have that price right. The Bubba Kush should be a little cheaper too.
