Every time you take a leak you are producing a very effective, safe, potent and FREE fertilizer. Every time you flush it away you are basically throwing money down the drain. We pay through the nose for fertilizers yet dispose of extremely effective one on a daily basis. Most peoples knee jerk reaction is "ew... gross" when you mention using urine as a fertilizer. But when you talk about using manure they have no issues. Urine is sterile, packed full of nitrogen in the form of urea and loaded with micro nutrients. Odd how people will react negatively to the idea of adding a sterile fertilizer to their regiment yet not bat an eye when adding "shit" as a fertilizer.

I know most people like for a person to break out all the pertinent info for them. But I aint about that. Read a decide for yourself.

Lol no doubt its a good fert.. I just dont know if i could piss on something that im gonna smoke.. I guess woman smear it all over the face though :)

Then don't piss on your plants. If the idea of giving your girls the full bladder splatter wierds you out.... just add it to your soil.

Using whiz in your garden could help save the planet!!!!

Not many people use the "if it's yellow let it mellow" rule in their bathrooms. They pee, they flush.... they walk away. As the population grows the amount of water use goes up. It is a very real possibility that wars in the not distant future will be fought over something as simple as water. Every time you flush a numero uno you are not only "pissing away" a badass fertilizer. But you are wasting water. Shame... shame on you!!!!

This technique of course is wayyyyyyy easier for the dudes. And it appeals to us on a instinctive level. Most all guys get some odd satisfaction out of peeing on stuff. Why not save your septic tank and pee on your dank?!?!?!

All quasi funny quips aside. I try to use almost all of my urine in my garden. My boy helps as well. Its a PITA for my wife and two daughters so they get a pass. Sometimes I whiz on my compost. Compost needs nitrogen to break down. I keep a wide (extra extra wide) mouth bottle in my bathroom to whiz in. If I don't need it for watering a plant I just dump it on my compost. If I want to water with it then I dilute it 10:1 with water for all applications. If plants are just shy of flowering I'll add 1 cup of wood ash and 5 cups of liquid gold (pee) to 5 gallons of water and water feed this to my plants to give them a kick of nutrients and spur them into full production.

I am a lady...and it's pretty easy technique for me as well :). I agree that it's funny that people use shit from all types of animals for their grows but think diluting pee with water and adding it to soil is disgusting :lol:. Saved a N deficient seedling with 1:15 ratio of urine to water when I was growing without ferts. Also completed a month's veg without any deficiencies and super green leaves. And for those of you who think you will have piss buds...the roots soak up the nutrients in the pee...they don't transfer piss to your buds. If you were in a survival situation, you could drink your own pee to prevent dying of thirst / dehydration. People use urea from cows (pee) often to make their lawns more green. If you're curious...grow out a bagseed and try ferting it with only pee!

Where is the science on that? Just curious...because everything I've read says that plants can't metabolize any drugs we take that is passed into our urine and that human urine is only harmful to plants if not diluted properly or if you have a bacterial infection. There is a Dutch study on urine that is pretty easy to look up on google...they found that it grows plants just as well as commercial fertilizers and 100% better than not using any fertilizer at all.

Wyogrow, I cannot recommend using pee for weed.
It contains more sodium that nitrogen, and Cannabis is sensitive to sodium, more so than most potted plants. cn

Depends on your diet...also, flushing is recommended when you use urine. Takes care of the salt build-up issue.

This is something I did routinely for my first season. Anyone who know me knows I'm always on a budget. I used to pee in a 2 gallon first thing in the morning, fill the rest with water, and water. I stopped mid July because of flower. In later grows I skipped it for fear of built up salts. My plants showed nothing but good and never burned.
