I have a buddy who's all about his aquariums...big ones.....I was looking at aquarium lights on the net...check this one out. Aqualight Pro Light Fixture - 3 x 250W HQI - 4 x 96W - 72 in(ESU) ....Do you think whoever owns one of these over his fish tank will have to worry about getting raided by the cops....I don't think so....theres an awful lot of large aquariums out there using high wattage MH lights ...Are we too paranoid???

yes you all are too paranoid about the heat signature....

i say you all because i was once paranoid too, until i went and educated myself.

and also if my education seem good enough, i went and bought me some polyshield for my cab.

and i also got a hut that is thermally insulated.

the only way the catch heat signatures is if you have like.. an intense set up
and i mean you would have to have a badly ventilated house and have a huge set up to make it noticeable
and since when do you see cops flying over the city in helicopters scanning our houses
sometimes they might notice youre electric bill goes through the roof but thats all i guess

hey Goat do what i do ;)

Google it =]

Im gonna go do that now ;)

edit:

Poly Shield is a Black and White poly that has been infused with metals that give properties that are both highly reflective and insulative. Poly Shield provides the same vapor barrier as regular black and white poly and adds reflectivity and insulative qualities. All objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit infrared radiation.

The hotter an object gets, the more infrared radiation it emits. These emissions cannot be seen with the naked eye. The resulting picture contains various shades, depending upon how much infrared radiation the object is emitting. A thermal imager is extremely sensitive and reportedly can detect temperature variations as small as 0.1 degrees centigrade.
