I wonder if I am ready to chop them. Back in the room I can't see trichs, but today I took one out and took few photos, then when I look at them on my pc, it looks like plenty of trichs are present.

It's my first grow.

Yes, I am getting microscope on Monday. ;)

3-4 weeks more
Wow, that much longer? Cool! Thanks God, I thought that I already screw up.
Frankly I was not prepared for the 3-4 weeks as they are Sensi star and Chaotic and I read they take about 55 days. Mine are in flower for 93 days already :(
That shows you....

I don't care about the days, I care about the trichs anyway. Thank YOU for the info estevez !

At least it looks healthy, unless the lower part of the plant shows something different. For a 93 day flowering plant grown by someone new, you'd expect all the leaves to be brown/gone by now. 93 days sounds kinda crazy as it doesn't exactly look like a pure sativa, but pure sativas can take upto 15-18 weeks sometimes.

I don't mean to sound condescending, but what do you consider "in flower" ?

you have about 3 weeks still, most the pistils(white hairs) are white and sticking up, you want a majority of the hairs brown/amberish tinted. wait till the pistils change colors, and start to lower their "posture"(in otherwords, they stick up less) ontop of it, most the resin glands look clear, not milky yet.

only 2-3 weeks more. 1 month max.

I know it's crazy and that's why I start to freak out. I keep log and I could see that I placed them under flowering 12/12 regime on 23.Dec 2013.
Few info: Sensi Star & Chaotic, soil, complete newbie and first grow, almost on the shoestring, they went thru hell, like some cold stress, my hot water boiler pipe exploded - pumping VERY hot steam in the grow room, left more light couple of time 15/8 by error etc. That may have also contributed to the delay, but at least they are still alive.

Btw: I do clean any yellow or dry leafs

my shortcut for flowering stage 12/12 regime ;)
Ivone plant looks good. I don't start counting days as flowering until I see tops with pistils. Not from start of 12/12 or signs of first pistils showing sex. IMO this gives a more realistic count of days of flower. She does look to have atleast 3 more weeks IMO. She looks great good job!!!

I got it man, I got it. 3 or 4 weeks no problem. I have time. The only problem I am having now is that top is REALLY big and heavy. I will have to figure something out to support them. My plants are very tall and fairly skinny (something I did wrong). So back on flower nutes ;)
Other mistake I made was, to many plants per m2. I had 19, should be more like 9. I did take couple out (2 mothers - one of each strain). BTW: they are doing fantastic (have already 30 clones).

I am sure next batch will be better.

Thank YOU ALL very much. Now I can sleep well........ :)

try to grab a 60-100x microscope for 20 bucks.. it will make it so instead of Guessing its READY.. u can pull them when there READY. great cheap tool that is a 1 time buy.. and really helps in getting the best bang for your buck.. especially .. since growing bud. takes at the very least 6-8 weeks.. so dont waste all this time.. to pull down some immature nugs.. when a few more weeks could really pack on the weight.. and the smell taste and potency are a main factor in the last weeks.
