i want to say yes.... but the underside would help me decide
K, i will be purchasing Neem Oil concentrate sometime this week. Should that take care of the little buggers if I spray the entire plant, underside and all?

i never tried neem oil but i can say that no, once you have them, you have them

and if in fact you do have them, its bad

fuck, that sucks. I have heard they're ways to get rid of them, just requires multiple sprayings to kill them and then get the newly hatched eggs the next week. Im gonna try and find some Doktor Doom Mite Knockout and Neem Oil and maybe a Trazicide. I know the local store sells a canned spray with Acephate, Resmethrin and Triforine, which looked to be good. Anything you would recommend?

Just some neem oil, bit of soap and good ole H2O will do the trick. Need to be vigilant though. If there is no flowers in sight then spray them until they are soaked, its also worth soaking a sponge and wiping underneath the worst affected leaves.

This will be an ongoing battle, keep it up.

Good luck.

Is your plant flowering? If so I dont think you can put anything on it.Not sure though.
2 of my 3 are just starting, no real buds yet. Ive heard its safe to use most products up to 3 weeks before harvesting.

Heres a picture of the same plant:

That doesn't really look like mites though.I had them on a plant last year and by the time the leaves looked like that, they were covered in webs too

Thanks for all the info. But yea, I dont see any webs and I haven't used any type of the insecticide the entire grow (I know its dumb, but I have been really short on cash and it was either that or nutrients). Unfortunately I can only visit the spot once a week and I didn't check the undersides of the leaves, so I can't really give more info. Maybe Ill try to sneak out there some time sooner and get some pictures of the undersides and look to see if anything is crawling around.

Getting a lot of mixed responses, hoping I can get rid of what ever this shit is.

Dude that is Spider Mites. And the web tents will be coming out soon. One female can lay 100 eggs in 7 days, and most of them will be female. That is why you must spray every 3-4 days x3.
The eggs hatch ( 3-5 days) and depending on heat is how fast they mature. Could be less than a week.
I have tried many sprays including Neem Oil, Gro Safe, Pyrethins, Azatrol, etc. I can tell you now the best way of taking them out fast is too mix Pyrethins and Azatrol. The Pyrethins will kill most on contact but not the eggs and they may become tolerant to Pyrethins ( & neem), but the Azatrol screws with there hormones and stops them from matureing/growing. So when the eggs hatch and eat the azatrol they will not grow up and no new eggs. The one's that live through the pyrethins may lay eggs before succumbing to the stop in growth.

Spray after sun goes down for at least 1 hour. Drench both sides and top soil.

Ok, thanks a lot. That Azatrol shit must have diamonds in it cause a 4oz bottle is $26.... But I guess Ill have to save up since I need it. Ill try to find a generic brand with Pyrethin, i think they sell a quart of it for like 9 bucks (actually now that I think of it that was permethrin).

And its safe to mix all this stuff together? The Azatrol u mix in 1 oz per gallon, right? Also I can't find pyrethrins other than the Fox Farm's Dont Bug Me Pyrethrin spray 24oz for $14, so I wouldnt really be able to mix it together. Would spraying with one and then the other right afterwards work the same? Would the 24 oz of it be enough to cover 3 full plants 3xtimes??? I would be able to make 4 gallons of the Azatrol shit.

FF Don't bug me should be fine, and yes I would spray that and wait a few hours then spray the azatrol. Azatrol is the shit.

I can only really visit my plants once a week, I could maybe sneak back there and just spray every 3 days. I really can't just spray it on and then sit in the middle of the woods for a couple hours. So you think I could spray with Don't Bug Me then 3 days later do Azatrol and keep on that cycle. Or could I spray with both within like 30 minutes? It would be like mixing the solutions anyway, wouldn't it?

Also, I have heard stories of people using just a 50/50 solution of rubbing alcohol and water. Is there any merit to this?

Thanks again!

Think about what alcohol does. And what do we use to clean out our glass, and get the sticky off~ Alcohol. So what do you think it would do to the plant....

Spider mites must be dealt with at least every 4 days because of there grow cycle, so if you spray Pyrethins (don't bug me) and wait 1/2 hour then spray the Azatrol I would think it would be safe to come back in a week, but do the same method, so the cycle stops.

Ok, that is what I will do. I will try to post pics and let you know how it goes. The first 2 times I use the stuff I will try and make it only 4 days apart. I'll pick up some Dont Bug Me and Azatrol sometime next week and apply it ASAP.

Is it safe to soak the plant in this stuff in the direct sunlight? That's usually the only time I am able to visit them for multiple reasons. Does the solution wash off in the rain? Any other tips to make sure these fuckers die completely and don't come back?
