are these spider mites?? cant tell (PICS)

i have little tiny holes and yellow spots on my leaves. taking a closer look i found a bunch of tiny little whitish things under the fan leaves. there is also some kinda winged bug next to em in 1 of these shots. i looked at all the sticky's on here and a couple other sites but i cant tell these things from adam....any help please???

They look like spider mites to me but the pictures aren't that clear. the reason i say they are spider mites is because of the yellow spots on the leaves. I had spider mites but they were black. the yellow spots on the leaves indicates sugars being lost in the plant which is what the mites feed on. the best thing to do is spray all the under leaves with bottled water not tap water. if your plant is in flower try to avoid the buds.If you can take the plant outside and spray heavy with water, they hate it. the trouble is if they are mites they lay eggs every 3 days and spread very fast. if you have caught them in time water will kill any bugs but not the eggs. if you see any more white blobs under the leaves remove them and crush them. if the infestation has gone too far your plant will die so act fast.

Hard to tell for sure, but I would say first pic spider mite, second pic fungus gnat (does it fly or run rather fast?)
