Are these ready?

I personally think they could do with another week or so(the bigger plant needing longer), but just after other peoples opinions. Mainly the shorter plant is it ready to come out? The top of the bud is very dry with brown rusty like hairs. However at the bottom of the plant there are very faint brown hairs a couple still white. Am I right in saying keep her in for another week or so? There are nice crystals all over the plant.

Thanks in advance

Those straight white hairs are telling you you're not ready quite yet, maybe another 2 - 3 weeks.

HOWEVER.... there's no law that says you can't clip a cola or 2 to get a taste of your hard work. Depending on the strain, you should notice the buzz from the later cut buds may be stronger with a better smell and taste, but the 'early harvest' has a more upbeat buzz. Personally I enjoy having a jar of 'early harvest' with the rest being 'late harvest' that I label as such just to add a little variety. Just don't take all of your best buds as 'early harvest', you want to see what the best tastes like when it's actually done.

An 'early harvest' will also give you a good chance to tryout your trimming, drying and curing skills. Please DON'T ever dry bud in an oven or microwave, your buds deserve the chance of a good slow dry, then you can start smoking during the cure. Put it this way, you're possibly a week away from smoking some fine bud so let the antici---pation begin.
