Are these Pollen sacks?

Hi guys, this is a sample of some polyps that I found on my previously female Super Lemon Haze plant. It was getting so big that I had to train it back and after I did this, about a week later these appeared! When I broke one up it appeared to have powder (the pollen I presume) inside. I spent some time removing all these protrusions and all looks good now.

I'm two weeks into flower at the moment and she's looking pretty healthy apart from this possible change to a hermaphrodite state. Will I constantly be combating the development of pollen glands or will removal once be enough?

I dampened the room down afterward with a misting of Canna Rhizotronic to stop any escaped pollen from doing too much damage to my other two plants (Critical by Royal Dutch Queen).

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've written this on the iPhone so I'll post a picture in a minute!

yeah,it's a male ..but if it started out a female and hermied then you will have 100% female seeds from that plant!!..so b4 you kill it think about it...

Thanks kepitgrn, I've not killed it as there are some vicious looking buds on it and it's only been flowering for 14 days. You've answered another question I'd meant to ask regarding the gender of the offspring. That's handy to know, I won't feel so bummed if I find any seeds though.

Before I'd made the first post I removed all the sacks. Was this a good idea? Will they come back? I suppose only time will tell!

Hi mr.sensiman.

It was a great smoke! I got a few seeds though. I have them ready for a rainy day as I'm flowering off a couple of Lemon Skunk clones at the moment. This grows problem is spider mites but I'm on it!!!!

Oh, I should have mentioned at the time that I removed all the pollen sacks by hand! After I pulled each one off I dropped it into a bowl of water and rinsed my fingers too. After this process I damped down the whole room with a mist of water to try and get any floating pollen to precipitate to the floor.

Update october 2011 : I grew off some of the seed in my garden, got some tasty little plants, well the slugs thought so! Next year I'll be ready for them. probably got half ounce out of the garden in the end.

and I was supposed to be exclusivly decorating this summer rather than tending the Garden. It's back to my Laveteria, Roses and the rest in the spring. But there definately going to have a few extra friends in there in 2012!!

Biggup to my very patient wife too!
