Are the yields that I see on youtube videos and in seedbank pictures really possible?

i would like to know which strains say 600-700
Super iced grapefruit is 650gr per m2 drid weight!! i got two of them in veg at moment.
L.S.D (BARNEYS) IS 600gr per m2

that = around 20oz per plant. that is a miricle grow. now i ask my self if pros are pulling that. ill half that and again lol and hope for 5/6 oz per plant. i was pulling 4/5 oz years ago and i had to pull them down a wk early due to getting to on top.

I grow organic "subcool" style. 7 gal pots, 4 per 1000W light. Easy 4-6 Ozs. a plant. Plant numbers mean nothing, you can grow twice as many small plants and get the same yield as half as many larger plants. It's all about maximizing your canopy.

Sooo since I'm planning on runnning 5 plants un about a 6ft by 6fyt area under a 400watt hps I should not be looking for harvest per plant but total harvest? And I'm running them from seed, I don't think I'm skilled enough to clone yet. veg until they are almost 12 in and then flower 7-9 weeks.......
You want to base your grow quantity on BOTH per plant and total yield. Ideally, you want your total yield to increase every grow, which inherently happens if each of your plants individually yields a litte more.
Furthermore, like we have mentioned, the characteristics of the crop will depend highly on how you are growing. There are many ways to grow indoors, and even more variations within each way. i.e. indoor -> soil -> organic, indoor -> hydro -> fast flow

Cloning is extremely easy if you have the right equipment, and almost necessary (topping) to train a well grown plant. Topping is almost always needed in veg to grow a nice bush, and the natural thing to do with the topped part, is to clone it.

So true, lst them to the max. I run 9 under my 1000w and get 3-4z per plant

holy shit those are the kind of dream numbers that made growing so enticing to me to begin with. i know my first grow is gonna fall short of that but im hoping after this ill be pulling atleast 3oz off 5 plants under my 400w every 3 months (assuming Ican conquer topping/cloning) any advice for me to fulfill this fantasy?

I dunno about getting over 600g per m2.... that means that a 1000w would yield about 5lbs, about double whats typical of a dialed in grow. I would however love to see someone or some strain do it!

Lst, Scrog, top. do whatever u need to do to maximize the canopy space, taller plants arount the outside, shorter ones in the middle. Keep your light as close as possible, esp with a 400w. Good ventilation is key for plant respiration (growth) and also for mold prevention. I grow in botanicare coco with Sensi nutes and am always blown away by how well it does. just keep it simple simple simple
