are my querkle seedlings burning up?

hey guys, growing 3 querkles and 1 pure kush seed in 5 gal smart pots half way filled with super soil and half way filled with an organic soil mix from a local nursery.
Watering with PH adjusted(6.5-7) tap water that comes straight from the aquifer, its not chemically filtered or anything.

The seedlings are 9 or 10 days old, the querkles are kind of streched because they popped ouf of the ground at night and i didnt turn the hps on till i got home after work and they were like an inch and a half out of the ground. The kush popped out a day later.

This is my 1st time using this soil mix(i usually go with FFOF), could it be a little too hot for the querkle seedlings? The kush, although smaller, looks all perky and dark green. Except for yesterday i noticed that the tips of the leaves browned a little.

need input, plz help! bongsmilie

HempDepot currently has Plushberry in stock, $75.00 dollars US. Their pretty good too, i've used them a couple of times, the only thing is they don't do online sales. You have to go to their website, print their order form and get an international money order from the postoffice and mail your order in. It isn't really that big of a deal, just send your order two day mail, it's only a couple bucks and you'll get your beans pretty quick. All of the Canadian seedbanks operate that way, no online sales to the US, at least the one's i've dealt with. I think it's becouse of the whole Mark Emery thing, the US tried to have him extradited from Canada for selling seeds online and mailing them to the US. So none of the Canadian seedbaanks will any longer do online sales to the US.

kushking.... i didn't plant them into supersoil, ive read a hundred posts about ppl planting into pots half filled with super soil and half with an organic soil like FFOF/LW mix or roots organic soil so they grow into the supersoil

Sub.. im not using FF, im using a local mix from a nursery here... its 100% organic i know that, i just don't know how hot it is...i don't have any experience with it, and neither does anyone else on this board =/

All i want to know is... Is what you see in the pictures above nute burn?

they seem to be getting better and the big 1 is completely healthy now so i guess they are getting used to the nutes???

I just harvested some querkle and couple pheno's I had couldn't get enough organic nutes.
I imagine that there taproot shot through down to supersoil. You would be surprised how fast taproot travels down esp if you put a seedling in it cause that's what seedlings do they drill down to get water. But if they are getting better that's great.
You did have some burn but let it ride and don't let it dry up on ya in those smart pots I have to water every day in flowering in 3gal smarts.
Subbed.
PS if you mix FFOF/Light warrior 2 to 1 works great Never had a problem yet...Kudos for Sub teaching me that.

thx man... so i dont know maybe they arent all better ... or at least 2 of them still look kinda bad... here are pics i just took in the same order....

so next time should i just plant into small containers filled with roots soil?(i found a local seller so i think im gonna go with that instead of FF)
and then transplant to a 5gal that 50/50 supersoil and roots soil when a plant is like a week old?

and you said dont let them dry out...i usually let the soil get pretty dry before i water...should i water sooner and keep the soil a bit moister?

Get the roots soil next time, and use it straight for seeds. Transplant after sex is determined.

Also High res. photos of your fingerprints may not be wise to post.

bro, super soil is for mature plants not seedlings! plain potting soil only for seedlings. once your one gallon pot roots thats when you transplant to the larger pot with super soil. try reading the stickie.

Mine looks like that right now. I think my problem was heat or t5 lights to close. It got up 2 85 in my veg box with the plants 4 inches from the light. Big fat indica leaves that looked bleached or starting to fade. Almost cloudy looking.

Has anyone grown Sensi Star? My smallish plant is looking almost white or grey/green. Entire flesh of the leaf.....uniformly whitish ashen green. Looks supple and nice except for that.

Strange

I've never really had any seedlings go bad with ffof...but I do think the nute levels vary between bags, so it may be down to luck.

why is everyone having so much trouble understanding that super soil is not for seedlings? dude says right here he used s.s. to pop his beans.
