Are my plants to bushy

my plant is pretty healthy as you can see but it seems to be growing a little wild. Ive read about topping and pruning but heard that cutting off will take energy from the plant. Im a medical cannibas user so Im allowed to grow, so height and space is not a problem. Should I top or prune it or should I just let her grow grow grow? Thanks alot

Welcome to RIU!

If height is not an issue, let them go.

What you really should consider is, putting them in bigger pots!

Good luck

Cut the shit on the bottom completely off! If you can get a cloning dome to diminish waste. I don't care what time of the year it is, when your clones root wait a week and stick them outside too! You certainly could top them as well just make sure you have good light penetration.. lopping off the bottom branches will cause hormones to go nuts and bush out even more! Go get some opaque 5 gallon buckets and drill an ass load of holes in the bottom smaller than hydroten.. put a layer of that in the bottom and put more soil than drop your plants in. Give the bucket a 1/4 turn once a day.

BTW, your plant looks great.. good job buddy. Continue to post your progress on this thread and I will give you +rep. Im subscribed to you now... keep up the good work!

Yes I am vegging @ oly. @doublejj I have them in 5g pots, should I go 10? @pappa Thanks for the advice and is there anything i could use to sub for a cloning dome if I dont have one? I really appreciate all you guys for your input and advice...Thanks alot!

That is coco your growing in? thats what it looks like to me anyway. Coir dries out very fast and in the summertime when your budding bitches are thirsty 5 gallons will require at least daily watering I would go minimum 20 if your growing in pure coir just because it has a tendency to dry out faster than other mediums, just my 2 cents

@ liter bottles.. cut them to where the spot is gone and you have the bottom and a tube. Flip one on another and connect. 100% humidity.. if you want it to be able to breath cut a 1"x3" rectangle along the length of the top bottle. the more you want it to breath the higher up you slide the bottle. Use a single cfl bulb inside your house, but not to close.

go to the store and get some zipties and string that wont fall apart when it gets wet. like nylon string. also get a big pack of these clips

make a loop on one end of a piece of string thats about a foot or two long. put a ziptie through the loop, and tie that ziptie around a branch. put it close to the end of the branch, but not too close so it slides off. then pull the string down so the branch bends(dont break it), and use the clips to hold it to the pot.

do this all the way around the plant. instead of using a million clips, i like to bring 3 strings together for each clip. also you can tie like 3 or 4 zipties together and put one end on the branch thats already bent down. the other end attaches to another upper branch, pulling that down also. this way you dont have to keep adding strings

Luger187 is talking about low stress training. If you do this you must hold the branch where it splits as to not cause stalk tear.

You must have read my mind Luger, I did some reading on LST last night and think thats what Ill do. Thanks alot. Good looking too PapaBear, Thanks for all your help and everbody elses.
