You need to know more about a light than it's "red" or "blue"

You need to know it's light intensity and you also need to know it's actual colour- which is not a name like "red" or "blue" but is measured in Kelvins. For example a typical colour K measurement for a vegging light is 6,500K while in flowering people typically use something closer to 3,000K. In rough terms, 6,500K is "blue", but looks pretty white and similar to typical room lighting. If a neighber saw it shining at night through your window they would think it was just a normal light. The 3,000K light will look orange-ish. If you have a 400w HPS with a K colour in that region it will make your room glow orange when viewed outside in the dark and will look wierd to a neighbor.

You really should read a proper guide to understand why lighting is important to a plant and to learn about the different kinds of lights. If you are intending to learn such basic information through asking questions online it's going to take you ages and expend way more effort than you need to.

well you know how to register so u can read, on that note there is a WHOLE section on just LIGHT alone so get to reading..oh and you might want to turn that light on to read how to grow weed with a light..
Key words " it is GROWING slow" I'm looking for advice on CFLs. I would have said HID if I had one.

if you have one plant growing under two 30W "acuraum" (maybe you mean acquarium?) lights and a 26W CFL, you're not going to get anywhere fast. First of all acquarium lights tend to be in the 5000 - 6000K range because in nature red light doesn't easily penetrate water, so you probably have lights in the "vegging range" which is okay. What's the K on the 26W cfl? You'll probably need to make sure it's in the upper range for veg and then change it out when you go to flower. Also, you'll have to change out those other lights when you go to flower. You can't keep the same bulbs for both flower and veg unless you want very undesirable results.
So, basically, you have 86W of light? You'll need to keep those cfl's really close to the plant to get it growing strongly. And make sure you have enough reflective covering like mylar or white, to reflect the lights. I would suggest adding a cfl or two. But make sure you're using the right spectrum. As dl290485 and doujadaze said, the Ks are very important.
I'm assuming they're photos and not autos...it would make a difference.
Any pix or descriptions of your set-up? There are lights which are good for both veg and flower but are really only for autos as lights are as important.
Also, the medium and watering and nutes you're using might be the cause of the slow growth. Just too little info to help you out much...

And the advice is, don't waste your time, go get a HID.

If you choose to do bullshit, no one here can help you since no one here is running around trying to grow MJ with freaking aquarium* lights.

I'm taking your advice the next time around...I'm trying indoors with cfl and it's going okay 8it's an auto this time) but i can only immagine the results the next time around when i use HIDs.

I would get a couple more cfl's if you are only using 3 at the moment. I started my plant off with 4 23w 5000k cfl's, and switched to two 43w(I think) 6500k and 4 23w 5000k's and that's when her growth really took off.

hey there is a section called indoor growing, beneath it there is a topic where CFL/fluorescent lighting is discussed.

it is growing slow because because you are only using only a 26w CFL. and also i think that aquarium lights are not good. (i have tried it a long long long time ago, i even asked the people here regarding on different kinds of lighting equipment hehehe, don't even try asking about a bug zapper light thingy because i had already asked people here a long time ago, and it is not recommended hehehe).

and please read, sometimes you gotta listen and take some advice. :)

ok so I can't upload photos but my grow box is 3' tall 4'long 2' wide.. Should I take the acquarium lights out and put like 4 cfls.? The leaves on my plant are curling but are still green should I be worried? I was useing a 50w 120v spot grow light the box it came in doesn't say how many lumens.

yeah mate go for the cfl's. As others have stated 6400k for veg 2700k for flower. Ideally at least 100w actual wattage per plant. The leaf curling, how is it curling? someone might be able to help if you put pics up. Crit. edit: just read you cant put pics up, sorry

Wow. so helpful and pleasant. You must have a lot of friends away from the internet.
