Are my fans correct

Hi I have a 1.2x2.4x2m tent I am currently using a 5 inch intake rvk which moves 350mph and a 6 inch airforce 2 exhaust fan which moves 450metres per hour both fans are plugged into a smscom fan controller how fast do I need to run them in order to exchange the air adequately and to remove smell through the filter cheers in advance

the amount of air a fan can move is rated in CFM (cubic ft per min) not MPH (miles Per Hr ) or meters per hr as you say , so go back and look at the info on your fan carfuly and reply back ,Im sure someone will help.

but in the mean time ,Their is a Inch worm in a 30ft hole and each day the inch worm climbs up 3ft,but slides back down 2ft , Soo how many days does it take the inch worm to climb out of the 30 ft hole.???????????????

I have checked jrainman and I can assure u it is metres cubed per hour I also know they can also be rated in cubic feet per minute

justme.

If you have an air filter it will most likely work regardless since the air is being scrubbed... if your intakes are pushing more air than you are sucking out through exhaust then you will have a leak and smell will escape... if you are in flower....

You want to change the entire volume of air something like 3-5 times per hour, I think. (Anyone got a more authoritative number?) Calculate the volume of your grow area and multiply by 4 to get the volume of air you need your fan(s) to displace.

Search "ventilation requirements for cannabis". I find google search gets better results than the RUI search

Thanks red that's all I needed to know cheers so my tent is 5.76m3 and the fan moves 430m3 per hour so devide that by 60 = 7.1 so if am right my fan at full speed can change 7.1m3 every minute so if u roughly need to change the air 4 times an hour that means I can roughly get away with leaving my fan at 25% speed if u know what I mean and I do have a filter so I suppose am fine justme thanks again ppl
