I need someones opionion...This is a Blue Dream clone, not exactly sure how old it is prob around 3 months old. As you can see in the pics, i have picked 2 buds off of it to test its potency. So far so good :eyesmoke:Pretty stoney stuff so far.But when i cured the buds, they did not smell like bud at all. Some of the Trichomes are amber and some are not. I cant tell cause i dont have the special magnifying tool to see the Trichomes. Is there any other ways to tell when its at it's peak THC levels? Does anyone have a better way to cure the bud, rather than just hang drying them?

Once again, another person with questions.. that are all over the place and hard to understand. It's like staring at the tv.. when the cable goes out.. nothing but static. :|

The only question I can actually understand.. is the last one about curing.

When curing the buds, you don't leave them hanging. That's got nothing to do with "curing" in the first place.. curing buds is a whole different process. When you have the buds hanging.. this is called "drying" the buds. Not curing the buds..

thats all the info I'm going to help you with.. do some freaking research on your own!!

Secondly, the ONLY way to tell if your buds are ripe and ready for harvesting.. is to check the trichs buddy. Nobody else on here.. will be able to tell you rather or not your plants are ready or not.. because we can't see the trichs either. But again, that's the only (and correct) way to check to see if they're ready to harvest.. is by checking the trichs. I would suggest you go to RadioShack, and buy one of their cheap $10 magnifiers and check the trichs.

Good luck.

Where are you? are you located in the western US? I am growing blue dream as well, and my plant reminds me of yours but less developed. I believe your plant is showing signs of revegging. especially your first pic. I would personally wait a while to see its activity

Trichomes are not "the ONLY" way to tell if its ready dude.

step 1: hang dry them ( you are on the right track! )
step 2: cure them - put them in air tight glass jars for anywhere from a week to a couple months ( the longer you wait the better they will taste/smell and the high will be much better)

your buds look great man! :leaf::hump:

lol! Yeah, Zues is not too bright. He talks about all the misinformation out there and his post is nothing but. He bases his hypothesis on limited experience and not much knowledge. Every strain is different and you honestly just need experience with a particular strain to understand it but when it comes down to it, the color of your tric's is where it's at. When tric's start maturing they turn from clear to cloudy to amber. If you keep an eye on this past your normal harvest date (I have from making seeds and observing tric's on the plant when left a couple of weeks past their normal chop date) you will see busted resin heads all over the place. Once the tric's become amber and are left to mature they start to degrade and leave you with less quality resin. The whole deal about harvesting when tric's are cloudy or amber has to do with harvesting with the least amount of degradation to the resin on your plant.

revegging is where your plant switches back to vegging after it already started to bloom. revegging will effect your buds. they will be less dense.

Revegging usually is NEW growth on the top... like its strecthing out and growing again instead of putting energy into budding

hey that bud looks nice, i might start flushing this week and then cut

If I was running a dispensary I would make sure to match my clone rooms photo-period with the local daylight hours. 16/8 cycle

That way people could actually put a clone outside and it would veg instead of trying to flower right away.

Its a sad thing to see a clone like that at the height of summer.

I'm in southern Cali..revegging huh, is that a good thing or bad thing? What are the signs of revegging?
THX man!!
yeah, she has some new growth on the last shot. see the small sugar leaves that are bright green? that is new growth. in flower, you just want your buds growing and swelling. she wants to go back to vegitative growth since the days are getting longer. june 21st is the longest day of the year, and past that point, your problem gets worse. you should take them into ur house and put in a closet around 6 p.m. every nite, until it is dark outside. then put them back out 4 the nite, once it is dark. do this for 2 to weeks, and the will finish up nice.its a pain in the ass, but its the only way to get bud soon. that or just chop it up now. if you wait, you will get more. plus, you can chop each branch as they mature.

if you want to cure your buds, let them dry completely, 2-7 days depending on humidity. if the stems snap, and not bend, then its a go. put them in a sealable jar for a day. everyday, pull the bud out and reorganize in the jar. after a week of that, you can open once or twice per week. i blow into the jar very softly to change the air out everytime i open. after a month, you got some well cured buds. look in the faqs section for more ideas on curing. there are all sorts of ways to do it. good luck.

reveg. looks like the buds are undoing themselves. plus, yeah, the single bladed leaf is re-veg baby. and this is bad if you want buds, cause now she's maki' leaf!

No new production of flowers instead there will be new bud spots for leaves to branch out. This is bad if you want to keep flowering your plant. I have never had a problem with this outdoors. Unless you are transplanting a girl or a clone.

i just had this problem outdoor and had to harvest half the plant, hoping she will fully revegg..but i doubt it time is not on my side right about now
