Are Humans able to control their own Hallucinations?

I was stoned as fuck last night and wasn't halucinating at all.
So I was gazing at the stars lying down and keeping my eye at one spot of the sky for about 3-4minutes.
Then all of a sudden small visuals started to start and all the stars started to turn, but I was still not moving my eye.
Because whenever I'd move my eye it would go away for a small second.
Then I tried it on a moving cloud that was moving past.. same thing.
Kept my eye in place and stared the fuck out of the cloud.
And what happended? Started hallucinating again. But the thing is. I could get up and stop anytime. So it wasn't like a chemical overriding my brain.

Anyways any of this make sense guys?

This whole thing that we call "real life" is nothing but a mutually agreed upon group hallucination.

To an extent at least we can. First few times I smoked weed I was laying on the floor listening to Pink Floyd and experiencing the body high as well, andnincould make myself control the feelings and thoughts I was having to a good degree. Same thin when I took acid the few times I did in high school.

Yeah, sketchy how?

Dunno OP. As humans we vary a whole lot from person to person so, I guess with some people yes.

I know his sounds odd but in my dreams, ive gotten extremely good at lucid dreaming to the point where i can 'trip' in them. I cannot lucid dream if i smoke before sleeping though.

Stoned on what? sounds like weak acid, or for me, staying up 24 hrs then smoking Durban Poison, things tend to get wavy.:bigjoint:

If you have taken psychedelics and you are aware of what 'tripping' looks like, you can stare at something, loose focus slightly, and it is very similar to a mild trip. Either that or you can perceive what it would be like if you were tripping. I find that tripping is just accentuating something that is already present in our vision.

IMHO

I think you can control your hallucinations up to a point, some things that you see though are just random things you don't even think about but just see. Like this for example, I started (mildly) hallucinating and then could kinda control what I saw. If you like this however, get your ass some acid, well recommended if you're a lover of tripping! :)

Any advice?
to me the trigger has always been realising i am dreaming in the first place, if i can do that, then i generally can go from there and do anything i want, typically its usually flying or jumping really high, sometimes i psyche myself out of these lucid dreams because the dream itself begins to grow more and more... fake i would say. For instance, i dreampt up a raceway, i love cars or used to, an di still remember this dream from years ago because i woke up laughing about how rediuclous ethe notion was. In the dream th erace track i made was a simple figure 8 and i made a car out of my imagination, looked similar to dodge viper, but after getting into the car and driving it, feeling the rediculous kickback after flooring it and going about the speedway i looked down at the speed-o-meter and it said some shit like, 2 million as the top speed, at that moment reason kicked in and i began to crack up at the thought i woke up in laughter. It felt like a stupid dream i guess.

Nowadays i just make stuff, build cities, dont have any sexual dreams or anything along those lines that i remember but recently ive been having nightmares in which i can control but i tend to die in them anyway and "wake up"(but actually still be in the dream) and kinda refresh the whole thing. I guess being conscious of the dream is what matters most and not to react by waking.
