Like the title says...Are household bug foggers ok to use near my garden? I dont have a pest problem in the garden, that I know of. I am wanting to fog my house for a lil flea and ant problem. I just dont know if those foggers are going to harm my plants or equipment. Has anyone done this? Or do I need special garden foggers. Like I said the bugs are in my house not the garden. Thanks!

:leaf:It depends whats in the fogger itself and what kinda chemicals are in it. But generally..No. Overall I'd say skip the foggers and try to use something else if you can...i know sometimes you cant use anything else..but do some research and see if there is something else you can do. especially if the plants are in the flowering stage. Foggers would be nuttin but bad news...and not good smokin' that shit in your bud either

:leaf:But it all depends on how far away the plants are, if its got fresh ventilation and many other factors too. I had a buddy of mine who had a small grow of 4 plants in his bedroom closet, on the 2nd floor of his house. His family had a bad "Wolf Spider" problem in the basement and an exterminator suggested "fog bombing" the basement. They ended up fogging the basement, just the basement, and he never had any problems with his plants.

:leaf:But if you end up bombing the whole house cuz you have no other options, then take the plants out and leave them out for 18-36 hrs (depending on ventilation, how much used, and room size)

:leaf:May I ask what kind of pest problem are you looking at? Ive been a landscaper since 2000, and i have delt with many pest problems, and may be of some assistance.

My plants just started flowering. My ventilation takes fresh air from the rest of my house. Thats why we are worried. And we cant move the flowering plants because they are on a large flood table in hydroton.

We dont have a bad bug problem. But Id like to take care of them before they become a problem. We are trying to get rid of typical household bugs...fleas...ants and spiders.

No the the air is drawn from the rest of the house. It is a sealed room set up for CO2. But no money for co2 yet. And the room is fead ac by central unit. So its not really sealed. Ya know what Im sayin?
