Are foliage leaves neccessary???

Do i need to have the foliage leaves because i think their blocking light that could be much more useful for my branches on my plant.

They are very important if you have a few big leaves blocking the light for some buds by all means get rid of them but be careful those leaves are the power house for your plant!!

ive found its better to try to tuck the leaves under the spots they are blocking if possible. i advise against trimming unless the leaf is near dead.

aright thanks for the info guys, ive been tryin to get the tips of the longer branches above the leaves so hopefully itll help.
