No doubt. All of us who loved blurple kind of called it. The crazy cheap chinese ones always did right by me and unfortunately, Platinum. Serious bangers there.

The 500 watt Updayday light that was floating around for a few minutes awhile back, also has a "customizable spectrum". It's just that it's built SO cheaply, I don't trust that it won't start a fire if I turn my back on it! ....It probably won't, but, I'm going to wait until I have a concrete bunker to grow in before I test it....heh heh. It was free because the first one arrived broken and I complained about it. The company credited me and also sent me a new one for free. Pretty nice move.
Anyway, I think the new trend is going to be for these types of lights that have separate channels for each color and a way to mix spectrums whichever way the grower chooses. I don't think any of it will make a lot of difference to the plants, but it will satisfy the people who want ALL the bells and whistles

Diodes, diode arrangement, and drivers are all that matters. Their tech isn't innovative enough to make them markedly different than most other semi-high end consumer brands.
