Are feminized seeds legit?

So I grew my first small personal stash of 5 plants. I went 4 weeks of vegetation and switched over to 12/12. after a week and a half, I noticed the flowers and to my very upsetting surprise, ALL OF THEM WERE MALES! I'm not all that happy about the loss so I looked into 99.9% genetically female seeds. Are these legit? I don't want to waste more time, effort, and electricity bills on f-ing males.

so im not sure, so dont yell at me if im wrong, but fem seeds come from a stable hermie? so theres always a chance of hermie, but usually no males.

they are selling for a premium. must be ok. im thinkin it would be worth the money to try. no friends can hook u up with some clones

yes they work, you either get female or hermie but its a smaller percentage getting a hermie then a male (much smaller then i believe)

can you get clones at all? Those are the best bet. Fem seeds are just 'selfed' which means a female was flowering and they let it flower for so long that it started to grow male flowers. The seeds that these 'male' flowers produce are usualla 99% female or what ever. Sometimes the selfed seeds are stableized too

i didn't think it was like this at all

i thought that they took normal plants and stressed them a little bit to be hermie... then the ones that resisted it the most were picked and the process was done again and again

i wouldnt take any of our advice honestly.

research it a bit.
