Are any of these Magic mushrooms?

to the op that is an amanita muscaria, and you don't eat them. You are supposed to make a tea out of them, I'm not exactly sure how to prep them so just trash them...

Dude, don't eat those!!! You want to be looking for either blue meanies or goldtops. blue meanies are rarer, but are the nicest. It you squeeze their stems they will turn blue, showing the psylocibin. But seriously, do your research or better still, take someone with you who can show you the ropes. If you are gathering in the auckland area, you are probably around a month too early. If you aren't 100000% sure - don't eat it!!!

they are sweet, they have been eating for years, theyre called fly agarics and although they dont contain the active substance that is in other shrooms, aka. liberty caps, they contain an other trippy substance, they must be either cooked in the oven on 75 degrees untill brown or boil and leave them to dry but after cooking them leave them for a few days 2/3 and eat on a empty stomach - expect to throw up for 30 - 45 minutes and fell a bit sick but this will only happen if havent been cooked right and its not death threating u will trip for a good 8 hours only 1- 2 mushrooms is enough, if u want a shronger trip drink ur piss after u eat them, ur body urinates alot the trippy shit out after 30minuters to an hour so if all u have had that day is loads water then all ur really drinking is water again and as sick as it sounds dont worry about it cuz people all over the world have been doing this for thousands of years i love tripping

they ar not liberty caps, safe to eat but will do nothing for you

the top are amanita muscaria, similar to magic mushrooms, but can have bad side effects and different high, the second one aint shit though

This one seems like a shroom, I might be wrong though.

the first picture is amanita muscaria. very popular, and u can tell it right away. you can eat it, but be careful because you will get very high (it doesnt have psilobin, but other "acids", and musicmol), and may have some stomach pains.

if you want to identify magics, you have to learn how to spore print the caps. also you need to learn the physiology of a mushroom, it can be quite simple. it is also very rewarding in the long-run.

there are several books on only psilocybes sp. (Paul Stamets writes an excellent one).

ahaha funny thread never knew how many different kinds of mushrooms there were but ya iz shroooomin season over here in soutwest florida rainin 2 afternoons i might post sum picks or go out there with an friend whos done it before iz gonna be my first time lol

goodluck. make sure you pick the entire mushroom, including whats underneath the ground. don't just snap it off at the base.

you need entire mushrooms for identification.

also dont use plastic bags, get wax paper or else they will turn to shit in a few hrs and get very 'mushy'
