Are all leds the same

the led lights used for rowing are they different besides the color than any other led light

no, they are not all the same. lots of different qualities. some are brigher than others. if you buy a led setup from someone there is no way to tell of the quality of leds in the system. nfact it would be more likely they would be the cheaper kind so they make more money
