Apple Jack -seedism

Grown the freebie. It didn't really like our grow environment / the heat wave i guess. Fluffy buds, medium strength i would say. It looked much more sativa than the one on their picture.
But in this particular grow it was really hot and other plants didn't perform as they usually do.

I had the same experience, exact same

Trying her again, I smoked some that was spot on

The Jack Herer I used was from Homegrown Fantaseeds who got it from Positronics, old cut, was a true male, not STS.
White Widow was a clone from the Artic Sun from the Flying Dutchmen.

I made Applejack somewhere in 1999/2000 as a regular strain, lost the Jack male years later.

Now Applejack is a STS selfed version of one of those Applejack seeds we selected for being potentially most green Apple smell.

Thanks for the info! Do you know how many different phenos to expect in the new version? Ours didn't look like the ones from the Attitude picture at all, much thinner bladed leaves. The fluffy buds could have been a heat issue so i would love to try it again

Yeah, great info. Can't beat the breeder, perfect

I ran this a couple years ago, and she was picky

So, I am too curious as to pheno types, like are there a lot of flux?

I tried some of this smoke and it had a flavor I remember from the 90's. Was skunky and sweet, the taste is like a deep, sweet, skunk

Buds were tight and wet looking...

Hahaha, you know the smell and taste of this strain. Would you describe it as loud or smelly?

ray, I get three pheno's, two very similar, both more loud then smelly.

Height wise they are similar, bud structure is seperated in two kamps, one a bit fluffier and one denser, not really fluffy but more Sativa influences.

Sativa dom. has obviously a more Sativa high, and tastes more towards a Jack with Skunky tones, Indica dom. has a more sour rotten fruit, only get green Apples just before dry and a little during curing, mostly a musky rotten skunk.

Applejack is a medium potency strain, bit milder then a white widow but a similar head buzz, good yields a bit above Jack and Widow indoors, massive yielding outdoors in good climates.

Thank you for that, will reference this when I run her

Saw a video on YouTube about it too, cool video

Thank you again man, hopefully I can treat her right this time

Oooh c99, I love her soo much, I still have an old clone of her and need to reintroduce her in my room soon again.
Hey man, you deserve some serious props for being around and breeding like you have AMSTERDAMMER, awesome man

you think it leans more toward the JH or the Arctic Sun?

What does the Arctic Sun taste like?

I remember that that Artic Sun was not strong in taste, but can not remember what that taste was like.
Really a strain selected more for potency, stability and yield I think, one of the later Flying Dutchmen strains.

I feel that most Applejack leans more towards the Jack I used, although the more compact one does look like the old Artic Sun did which was like an old White Widow but a bit more Indica then the WW so more compact.

Was your favorite the sativa leaning or the shorter one?

Thanks again man, picked up 20 beans.
