Aphids just before flower -- HELP!

Here I go again, damnit....

Last two plants, was going to harvest in a couple days. Saw all the leaves, yes, just about ALL have speckles that are white, with black dots here and there. Fricken APHIDS, green bitch bugs everywhere upon magnification.

What can I do to ditch them and not just chuck the plants? I see some big colas, and it'd be a SHAME to chuck them, but I don't wanna eat/vape bugs.

What if I harvest and do a water cure? Surely 5 days in a changing water bath would help! Please help as I don't want these bitches multiplying any further!!

I had an aphid problem they suck. Get some lady bugs they are 8 bucks for 1500 they will eat shit out of all of them thats your only real option this late into flower. And even if you cant get rid of them completely when your drying your plants just make sure you trim them completely and manicure them before drying aphids usually dont penetrate the buds and if there are any left over after trimming that you dont see they usually will leave in search of food elsewhere and eventually die. How far into flowering are you?

Also get your hands wet literally. It takes some work but you can do some serious damage to an aphid infestation with your fingers. Go over each plant and gently squeeze, rub, mush whatever every aphid you see. After its all over spray your plant down with peroxide water 1 to 5 ratio peroxide to water and that will kil eggs and some of the aphids thats arent fully developed.
Edit: try not top spray the buds directly and fan them till they are dry after.

Was going to harvest beginning of next week! AAAArrrgh!!

I'll try the spraying then. I have a steamer, will use that first, then the hydro peroxide spraying. Give it a day or so to dry, then trim as I usually do, which is pretty tight, then dry like always then. I think I will just concentrate on the larger colas with these though.

Oh if your gonna harvest in the beginning of next week them dont bother just squish the ones you see keep your temps low and you will be fine. Dont do anything drastic aphids really cant do that much damage unless there are 100 on ever square inch of the plant. Ill show you a pic of one of mine with a late aphid problem and I left it for two weeks and a couple lady bugs till it was ready for harvest. Buds were delicious and no bugs.

Spinosad is safe to use right up to 6 days before harvest. That is if consuming right after harvest. Since it has to dry and cure it can be used right up until chop if you are rinsing it. It is a bacteria harmless to humans. It will kill any leaf eating pest.

Wow, that cola situation was awesome whitebb!

I just steamed the fu$% outa my two remaining plants, then sprayed with your hydrogen peroxide/water mix. Couldn't stand the thought of them bitches all over my plants! Have two fans (as always) in the room. Watered yesterday. Will either harvest tomorrow or Monday as mentioned. Don't think the spraying I did will cause any harm.

Temps in the room are 75 right now, but as outside temps lower, the temp will go down to 68 or so, then a high of maybe 73 or so when lights go back on tomorrow. They're on right now though, for another 6 hours. Actually toned it down to 600 watt single HPS for the remaining two aphid plants... Thanks for the input so quick!

I was wondering if i do the next grow using bubbleponics, i'd have less chance of getting bugs?

I just ordered that, nice call.
Just found f*&ing spider mites/webs on the plants too. Damnit.

I already have the last few plants drying and some curing right now. I just said screw it and cut the shi* down and chucked 'em. I know, you could just dry them, but I don't have a lot of space, don't want to affect my others that are drying now, as they'd have to be right next to 'em, PLUS wanted to nip this in the bud right quickly. They were clones and I was doing way more than I can handle anyhow.

Friggen bugs.
