Anyone who has used htg supply products

i have the 400 watt hps set up with ballast can i get a metal halide bulb and use that. and just switch the bulbs when the time comes

no you cant you will need to buy a special MH conversion bulb, they cost like 35 bucks :/ they sell them on HTG. and yea alot of people from this site, and I imagine all sites like this have orderd from them... and loved them... I've heard only 3 bad things... and that was recently... and weird :P

No..unless it's a switchable ballast. There's a conversion bulb you can get, works with hps ballast I believe.

I no longer will consider using a conversion bulb*, i feel the light is not as crisp. *600 watt only comes as conversion bulb
