i watched it the other night also, they have actually ran it about every night the past week for some reason, it was enjoyable... but like ganjaluvr said i liked marijuana inc a little more, both were very informative though. On the nat geo channel they also had a show called marijuana nation i believe. The history channel recently had a 2 hour show called marijuana: a chronic history which was very interesting also.

I like the sheriff in it...

He says there has always been marijuana grown in Kentucky

Then he says that they are winning the war...

But it is a war that cannot be won. As soon as they *win* (I guess that means locking up all growers) somebody else is going to plant a seed in the ground.

Nice to see Portugal gets it though. Maybe they can be the model for decriminalization around the world.

the law enforcement people on there are always funny to me, They are winning the war huh.?. lol, thats a joke. Its funny how the government makes money off the so called drug war...i could go on and on about all that. They want to flood the prisons with non violent offenders just to get that money, its not about winning or losing, its all about the money in the end...

The Union might be one of the better Pro-marijuana documentaries I have seen and that says alot because I have literally watched them all...and what these documentaries do is acclimate people to the idea of legalization...as does the show weeds and movies like half baked and stuff...just like desensitization to television violence...people are becoming pro pot because the masses follow the media stand point...thus why it is called mass media...we are all sheep...as long as they are herding me where I wanna go anyway I'll follow...ya know?

Spot on , The same is happeing here in the UK right now , Lots of documentres that are giving people a differnt perspective to the one they have been told in the past .

The funny thing is , Watching all the videos and the shows ... Everything is fine and sweet ... Untill the laws and the police get involved ... then it all just gets dark.

Is it just me or can no one see that a simple change in law would take away 90% of the bad things that they say are Cannabis related ?

When i hear it being discribed as " Poison " by a elected Drug Czar in charge of control .... I have to wonder if hes ever read a book or actulay know anything about his job .

Like wise, it is impossible to OD on marijuana. No one has ever done it, the theorized amount you would have to smoke to kill yourself is 600 pounds all at once. So what is the definition of poison?

"A substance that causes injury, illness, or death, especially by chemical means."

now what are the Official government statistics concerning deaths by marijuana?

http://drugwarfacts.org/cms/?q=node/30

They attribute ZERO deaths.

Someone is lying. Either Pot is NOT poison or the official stats are skewed in favor of MJ, which makes no sense since it is the government who wages the war.

Every time that guy calls MJ poison I wish there were someone in the Audience who would yell "You Lie!"

When examining the health affects of marijuana use, the National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse concluded, "A careful search of the literature and testimony of the nation's health officials has not revealed a single human fatality in the United States proven to have resulted solely from ingestion of marijuana. Experiments with the drug in monkeys demonstrated that the dose required for overdose death was enormous and for all practical purposes unachievable by humans smoking marijuana. This is in marked contrast to other substances in common use, most notably alcohol and barbiturate sleeping pills."
The World Health Organization reached the same conclusion in 1995.

Thanks for the link bro,

But what I want to see is Brown Dirts Guide to how he grows.
I care about how marijuana is an industry in america,
but im looking more for "Techniques on growing" more then the history.
Already know the history like the palm of my hand,
they need to come out with ways on how to grow that shit the CRAZY way.
From start to finish..
But something for FREE :D
