Anyone use these?

Anyone use these phlizon 600w blurble leds? I have 2 of them that came with my 2.5x2.5x5.5 tent. Will they be enough for a decent product or should I just get a 2000w vipar ?

Phlizon make some reasonably priced white led bar lights too.

Most Blurples do veg well and give pretty tight internodes and lots of vegative growth.

They grow weed. You'll smoke it and get baked. If that's your end goal then light em up feller.
If you are looking for higher quality and weights then a better light is your ticket.
You might get a couple purple rain comments if you post pics lol but whatever man. Gotta start somewhere yea?
If money isn't a concern then ya I'd upgrade the light and maybe just keep those blurps for vegging or possiby a door stop (that's what's mine are for now)

Blurps , watt for watt, produce about equivalent to their hid equivalents. You'll be fine for a run or three, but an upgrade to whites when you have the dough would be ideal.

I just checked. These pull 600 watts. You’re good to go, bud. Turn both switches on. Keep both on.
Pretty sure they only draw around 108 watts from what I've read.

You’re probably right. On Amazon clearly states 600 watts. But on their own website says it’s good for seedlings. Still 2 of them in a 2.5 square tent should veg ok.

HPS - They have their down side (heat mostly), but they do produce the denser buds & the light has better canopy penetration than LED.
Shitty leds produce fluffy buds due to spectrum with insufficient green and hugely insufficient amount of light. White leds tend to produce denser bud,, as long as you got enough of it, but buds may look a bit smaller. This has been shown and debated over and over, the real deal is that a dry pound of white led bud looks about 2/3 of a pound of HPS bud. The HPS bud looks bigger due to more water in the bud, its down to IR creating a more watery bud. It feels nice and dense when harvested, buds are still hard after dry and cure, but they are still bigger. Since density is weight divided by volume, and hps buds are bigger (more volume) they are less dense. You misstake hard for dense but no biggie. Basicly if you compare wet weight to dry weight from a hps to a white led, leds will lose less. This meaning denser. Its something thats been flamed so many times that i cant be arsed to have a back and forth. All due to people not really understanding the definition of dense: its weight and volume, not how thick and hard the bud feels. Make a good led grow and you will see this. But its quite easy to make a shitty led grow at first cause you have to grow them differently. But any successful Led convert that understand big and hard is not the same as dense will tell you the same.
Penetration is another issue, but again the same: nobody seems to agree what it means, buds all the way down or light levels under cannopy? Its not the same. Also, not exactly down to the light, much more to grow style. How many bud sites you leave. How big are your roots. Total light levels, which tend to be bigger with leds.

Sorry, ranting, hps penetration and denser buds is a red herring trigger to me and a few. All respect though cause it can really look like it when you havent understood whats behind it. I encourage you to try it yourself, with someone whos grown decent with leds.

But i do agree, some cultivars do great under HPS and shit under leds. Some need at least trace blues lower than 450nm, which is lacking in led. Its all just in the varying definitions of quality.
