Anyone use spider farmer LEDs?

Hello. I have really been looking at the spider farmer sf-4000 it seems like a decent light for the price but I haven’t found many reviews. Most I’ve seen are like mr Canuck and I would assume a guy getting kick backs is going to promote the items quite heavily. Has anyone here had any experience with spider farmer lights? Also I’ve noticed that some places recommended using a 5x5 tent for the sf-4000 where others say 4x4. Part of me wants to get a 5 just because of the 9 extra sq. Ft it adds but if the light would be better in a 4x4 I’d run that with 4 plants. Plan on growing some autos for a couple runs to get back in the swing of things. I haven’t grown in a couple years and that was under hps and hydro. Just trying to do my research before dropping that amount of cash.

Go with a 4x4 with that light. For veg you will likely need to dim it but during flower run it full tilt boogie. That said if I had the coin needed for it id stretch it a little further and go after a pair of hlg 260s. Friend is rocking one in a 2 x 4 with the same older 3000k boards that I run but with way more growing knowledge and is killing it!

4x4 is ideal for full cycle grow with the sf4000.
I have the sf2000 and the sf1000. Awesome lights! I run both of them in a 2x4 to get higher par coverage.
Photoperiod plant in the middle & auto's on the ends. Thinking of tossing the one on the right. I don't like the way it looks. Only thing keeping me from scrapping it, is the leaves eventually turn green.. they just grow in yellow for some odd reason.
They are at 28 days in that pic.IMG_5881.JPG

I would not go with a 5x5, that will only give you 18 watts per square foot. You really want a min of 35 watts per square foot of good led. A 4x4 will still only give you 28 watts per square foot but I have heard many are very happy with the results in that space with that light. It would definitely be a good solid starting point.

My bad lol. I haven't been updating my grows. I have them documented tho. Just waiting to get some actual read worthy content to post.
Do you have a 3x3? The 2000 & 1000 sitting how you described should work well in that space.

I would stay away from that company because they're known for bad customer service and shitty warranty.

You can get the same light on Alibaba for much cheaper .

I tried your coupon code. What discount is that? 2.5% off? You price shot up this past 6 months or so since I last purchased. I went ahead and ordered from Amazon as I get free shipping with Prime and it ended up being less than directly from you. I love Spider Farmer lights. I am running 3 units of the 2000 and one of the 4000

Have u tried other led lights compared to sf? I loved mine til I tried another. I have sf2000 which worked great but emits to much heat. Better then hps but it gave me heating issues which I had to combat by buying extra fans and small a.c. unit. Would have to leave tent open and still not hit my target temp. Fought hard to keep it under 85 degrees. First half of grow with light dimmed it was fine but once at full power troubles began. I have the viparspectra 2500 now and much better with heat. Better wattage and $100 cheaper. Have u been dealing with heat or is it just me?

I run or have run 2 SF 1000s in a 2x4x7 and usually have to add heat. You must live in the desert.

Nope Va. Perfect weather for any and everything. Like I said my viparspectra 2500 and my electric sky dont have the heat issues. The heat from the leds are fine the problem is the power source is to hot to touch for more then a couple seconds. Have heard some separate them but it heats up my whole room causing my other temps to go up in other tents in that same room.
