Anyone use kellogs soil?

Just bought some kellogs soil just curiouse how is it? good for seedling?

I've never heard of it, however I just Google'd it right now. It seems decent, somewhat of a plain soil, which isn't bad depending on your preferences.

One good test with soil is to get it really wet, grab some and make a fist. When you place it back down it should form a ball (or shape of fist whatever) and when you poke it, it should break apart.

Oh and add some mycorrhiza if you can, will make the soil much better.

Mycorrhizae are fungi that live in the soil and share a symbiotic relationship with plants. It's a must to have in your soil IMHO. They benefit your plants greatly by, increasing nutrient uptake, exchanging fungal hormones, protection from pathogens and root predators and better water relations including reduced drought stress.

Basically it helps increase vigorous root growth and makes your plants more resistant to diseases. This helps your bud quality and yield also increase.

ive used the home depot kellogs twice so far... im a begginer so i cant give an expert opinion here but mine have grown fine in it so far.. and i trust it to be war more organic than miracle grow.. ""organic choice"" .. and the kelloggs is only like 6 bucks a bag... i added a ton of perlite... superthrive. fish emulsion and gh bloom. i also use gh bloom mixed with emulsion for veg.. i use a dominant source of fish emultion and a small amount of bloom keeping in mind the bloom also has little nitrogen such as the fish emultion has little p and k... been working so far.... my plants seem to be loving fish emultion im gonna experiment. using it in tiny amounts during flower. for the month of flower
