Anyone Use HTG Brand Carbon Filters?

Im trying to get some feedback on HTG carbon filters. I was planning on buying a phresh 8inch but they're over $200 and the HTG's are cheaper. If you have an htg filter I'd like to know how it works. also, if you have used an htg and other brands, let me know how the htg stacks up.

I use an HTG filter. Its completely worn out now, but it worked OK for the first 6 months. It didnt filter out EVERYTHING, but it did a pretty good job at first. I used it for about 5-6 months, then put it away in storage. After i pulled it back out like a year later, it didnt seem to filter out anything.

im at 4 months on a 4in and its fine up to now but we will see

i had one ...worked ok for like 6 monthes as well, never fully removed all the smell tho, id reccoment against it, if u want zero smell issues u need to get a good filter, im trying can filters not, i have not hooked it up yet as im waitingf to get the flange piece i need but illl let u know how it works, it was 150 i think or somehtin like trhat
