Im using this alone in my 5 gallon dwc grow for vegging. For anyone who has used it could you tell me the correct ppm amount for best results and how much success did you have using it?

Thanks guys :weed:

I have been using Botanicare products for over a year strictly by the directions on the bottle with excellent results. I use Gro and Karma for veg. Bloom, Karma, and Hydroplex for flowering. Clearex and water only for the last week before harvest. It is organic and therfore it is pretty forgiving if you don't mix it exactly perfect every time.

I am using Botanicare Pro GROW & BLOOM, Liquid Karma, Sweet & Cal Mag all for the 1st time... On the schedule you only use the BLOOM for the 1st 3 weeks of flowering after the transition week? wtf? No BLOOM nutes for 4 weeks?

On the schedule , where it says to start using Pro Soil, I just continue using Bloom. I add Hydroplex which has a NPK content of 0, 10, 6 plus additional micro nutes that bloom doesn't have.

Was any of my post unclear? Follow the schedule.
Most people recommend that you do a percentage of what they tell you to use on the back of the bottle, so im not going to follow their schedule EXACTLY, i did and it resulted in nute burn, thanks for the advice but you dont have repeat yourself.

What i need to know is what is the average ppm for midsized veg, which is not on the schedule either.

How often do you change your water? I change mine once a week. I had problems with burning before, so I talked with the guy at the hydro store. Some of the nutes settle out in the water (I'm sure you have noticed that already), some of the solids stick to the roots also. That's why when the plants have been growing for awhile the roots won't have that bright white color like they do if you use GH or other synthetic nutes. He advised me to flush the plants with plain water every time I change the res. Once I started doing that there were no more problems. I take it a step further. When I have to add water between res changes, I pour it through the plants instead of just adding it straight to the res. My roots are still mostly a light brown all the time, except for new growth, but no nute burn. How many plants do you have growing in the DWC? I have an ebb-n-flow setup for veg that uses a 5 gallon res, with 10 plants in it.

I have a bubbleponics setup in a 5 gallon with net pot lid and the air stone on the bottom, i use about 3 gallons of water in it. My roots look pretty white to me, but ill try the flush and see if it fixes it!! Thanks happy! :)

You're welcome. If you only have one plant in 3 gallons you may be able to change your water every 2 weeks. I have waited 2 weeks a few times with mine when I was out of town, and it didn't hurt the plants. How old, and how tall is you plant?

EDIT: If your plants are burned you should give them only water for a few days to help them recover, if you havn't already done so.
