I was thinking of making the switch to Botanicare or Humbolt nutrient brands. The organic lines. Any opinions on them? Good experience, bad? thanks

sorry, only used botanicare and fox farm nutes, prefer botanicare for indoor and outdoor.
more than satisified with the results. the results definitely justify paying the higher prices for botanicare in my situation.

Im a New Member Here,And New To Growing,Im Learning,I Enjoy This Site...But I Have A Question For RESTLESSWYND...You Say You Have Used " Pure Blend Pro grow/bloom, liquid karma, cal mag"...

Now, Do You Use Some Of These Products Because Your Plants Needs Them? Or Do You Use Them To Keep You Plant Healthy At All Times?

Thank you

I use them because that's what the old school norcal growers taught me.
i get good yields and my plants are healthy, so i keep it simple and go with what i was taught.

IF you go to Botanicare website, they have a feeding schedule that use's Cal Mag, Karama, and some of their other products. Its a lot simpler feeding schedule then advanced nutrients.

I also use mainly Botanicare - Pure Blend Pro Grow, Pure Blend Pro Bloom (for soil), Liquid Karma, Cal Mag+ and Sweet. (I haven't used budswell.)

Like restlesswynd, I get good yields and my plants are healthy, so I keep it simple and go with what I was taught. Also I use slightly less than the directions call for.

I haven't tried Humboldt Nutrients even though it's made right here in Humboldt county (Eureka) just a few miles from where I live, go figure.

Hey Yota- I've used both and prefer Humboldt Nutrients Master A & B for a re-circulating system. You can find the feeding chart for it : HERE

About 4 years ago, a 20+ year veteran of hydro taught me using the pureblend, and since then I've tried Dutch Master Gold, Technaflora's BC Boost/Grow/Bloom and Humboldt Nutrients. Humboldt Nutrients far surpass all other companies in plant health/happiness/vigor. I HIGHLY recommend you try them.
