A lot of people here use those. But more than 2 in a lot of cases. They won't actually equal the output of a 600 watt light just FYI. You'd be good for a small plant or two. Or just for veg. You'd do better just buying a 400 watt hps for cheaper than the two of those and having 4ish times as much light.
what are the cons tho. hps seems less stealthy then cfl, need the vent the air outa the buld it seems like id spend that in extra customization to suit the heat hps will give i live in an apartment lol https://www.1000bulbs.com/category/150-watt-equal-compact-fluorescents-6500K/
my latest discovery for veg get like 6 of em
Your footprint will be better with 28 smaller ones. You can essentially put them all around your plant for even coverage. Vs the one or two slightly higher intensity points.
ok i was gonna do like 8 side by side above one plant so it a concentrated source like the sun the 8 small suns all around i remember seeing a vid on that method rather then the method scattering them all around i wanna get decent yeild i might top too im get seeds of Nirvanas Aurora indica fem hehe
A couple 23 w cfl's ,some good soil, and a cozy corner of the room is a good start then add more lights as the plant grows.8-23w(184w total)bulbs cost $20.It's easy to diy a multi bulb fixture.
