A lot of people here use those. But more than 2 in a lot of cases. They won't actually equal the output of a 600 watt light just FYI. You'd be good for a small plant or two. Or just for veg. You'd do better just buying a 400 watt hps for cheaper than the two of those and having 4ish times as much light.

its kinda for a closet grow i wanna get one good plant and do it routinely forpersonal use. So i shldnt get higher watt bulbs?

willthe bigger watt cfl help any or just get like the 28 if i choose cfl hps seems tough tbh and a waste for one plant

Your footprint will be better with 28 smaller ones. You can essentially put them all around your plant for even coverage. Vs the one or two slightly higher intensity points.

ok i was gonna do like 8 side by side above one plant so it a concentrated source like the sun the 8 small suns all around i remember seeing a vid on that method rather then the method scattering them all around i wanna get decent yeild i might top too im get seeds of Nirvanas Aurora indica fem hehe

i see ppl f up hps just as well as cfl grows i just wanna get a nice lil grow box and bang out one plant ever so many weeks hopefully

A couple 23 w cfl's ,some good soil,and a cozy corner of the room is a good start then add more lights as the plant grows.8-23w(184w total)bulbs cost $20.It's easy to diy a multi bulb fixture.

I bought three cfl's with reflectors for $180. Then bulbs for flower were another $170. $350 total for a 3x3 space.

You will be better off with HPS.
