Anyone remember Z Rock radio?

I guess it was the mid eighties and I think it was out of Texas, maybe Dallas. They played metal and rocked it with mandatory Metallica and such. There was sharkman and Mad Max Hammer who had the tag line.. Oh Max Nooo.
I was just thinking about it and wondered who else used to listen.
