Anyone know what this is on the fans??

I just moved this clone from the cloner to pot with coco. When it came out of the cloner this wan't there( 5 hours ago). The white shit on the edge of the fans. Looks like salt.

Anyone know what this is?

Maybe salt if you sprayed unfiltered tap water and the leaf was moist before, you wouldn't see it until the leaf dried. Hopefully it's not powdery mildew.

Thanks for the reply. I only use R/O water and I moved 10 clones and there are only a couple with this isssue. It is very strange.

Looks like powdery Mildew to me. How humid did you keep those clones?

The clones are in an aeroponics cloner with a dome. The dome is vented and there isn't any fog on it. The humidty stays around 65% on the leave portion of the plant..the roots are have much more humidity.

You know some of it does rub off. It feels a little gritty almost like salt. I think it may be some nute build up from the humidity in the dome that causes a little moisture on the leave while in the cloner. I think maybe if I taking of the dome might fix eleiminate this.


Has anyone else seen this before? They seems very healthy and it is only on a couple. I think if it was mildew it would probalby be on more plants.
